An adjustable firearm mount apparatus includes a main support. The main support includes a base end and an adjustment end opposite the base end. A longitudinal axis extends along a length from the base end to the adjustment end. At least one first mounting section is configured to interface with a first portion of a firearm. At least one passageway is defined in the main support and extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. An auxiliary support is slidably connected to the main support nearer the adjustment end than the base end. The auxiliary support includes at least one elongate member received in the passageway and at least one second mounting section configured to interface with a second portion of the firearm.

An adapter for an M240 machine gun to position the trigger housing assembly distally forward as well as an M240 machine gun with the trigger housing assembly positioned distally forward from the proximal end of the receiver.

A bolt control device for causing the bolt of a firearm to be held in a retained position after each round is fired, the bolt control device capable of being manipulated by the user to also release and return the bolt to a firing position so that the firearm may be used to fire an additional round.

Manually operated firearm system

The digital elevation knob is a digital replacement for a conventional elevation knob of a telescopic rifle sight. The knob is mounted to the rifle scope by a cylindrical body having a pair of flanges. The flanges are adapted for securing a microcomputer to the knob. A display screen is disposed on the front surface of the microcomputer. Inputs supply data to the microcomputer that processes the data. When the elevation knob is turned it turns a screw that is secured to a targeting element. The screw causes the targeting element to move vertically. A displacement sensor determines how much the targeting element has moved and sends a signal to the microcomputer. The input data and the information from the sensor are processed using trajectory programs and ballistic tables. The results of the data processing are projected on the display screen. The display informs the rifleperson of necessary adjustments.

A shoulder-fired semi-automatic rifle including an elongated housing, a barrel projecting forward from the housing, a bolt mechanism within the housing including a firing pin having a sear mechanism and a magazine depending from the housing and cooperating with the bolt mechanism. A shoulder seat depends from the housing immediately behind the magazine and is spaced substantially forward of the rear end of the housing. The trigger and trigger hand grip are mounted forward of the magazine. The trigger, spaced substantially in front of the sear mechanism, is connected to the sear mechanism through an elongated link member. A front hand grip also depends from the front portion of the housing in front of the trigger. The housing may also be provided with an upward projecting carrying handle located above the center of gravity of the rifle, when extending longitudinally horizontal.

A trigger mechanism for a semi-automatic rifle in which a latch-disconnector hook member is mounted on the trigger member for engaging a catch on the transfer bar to temporarily hold the transfer bar down while the trigger is pulled and after the transfer bar has been depressed and thrust rearward by the rearward movement of the cocking lever to ensure the cocking of the firing pin as the bolt carrier moves over the transfer bar.
