Systems/methods for sending offers to a user viewing a web page. A third-party offer engine proxy server is interposed between the user computing device and a destination web server to which the user is browsing. The offer engine proxy receives a first message comprising browsing information from the user computing device and sends the first message to the destination web server. The offer engine proxy receives a resulting web page from the destination web server. The offer engine proxy determines at least one topic of the browsing information. The offer engine proxy determines an offer to be sent to the user based on the at least one browsing information topic. The offer engine proxy modifies the resulting web page to include an offer to be sent to the user. The offer engine proxy sends a second message including the modified webpage and the offer to the user computing device.

Targeted, competitive offers while browsing

Systems, methods and computer readable media are disclosed for providing targeted offers to a user who has a pre-existing account with the offeror based on information of the account and the user's web browsing information. In addition to the general system, systems, methods and computer readable media for such targeted offers, the targeted offer provider may comprise a combination of a web browser toolbar and a computing system linked across a communications network, the networking equipment of an internet service provider, and a proxy computing device.

A hosted load generator framework provides functionality for evaluating the availability, reliability, and/or scalability of a network-based service. The framework includes a control service and a load-generating service. The control service provides a control interface through which a request to evaluate the performance of a service may be received. In response to receiving such a request, the control service determines a price for performing the load test. The control service may also cause the load test to be performed on the service under test using the load-generating service. The load-generating service is configured to perform the load test by executing load-generating instances configured to generate requests to the service under test. The load-generating instances also provide data regarding the status of the load test to the control service.

Hosted load generator framework

A user at a computing device interacts with a networked site so that the user can log in thereto. The site receives a selection to log in and in response downloads at least one replacing driver for bypassing a corresponding driver operating on the computing device that may possibly copy log-in data including authentication credentials as entered by the user. Each replacing driver is loaded into an operating system of the computing device so as to bypass the corresponding possibly copying driver and be employed in the operating system rather than such corresponding bypassed driver. The site then delivers a log-in screen to a presentation application of the computing device after each replacing driver has been loaded. The presentation application displays the log-in screen and the user enters the log-in data thereinto. Accordingly, each non-trusted and bypassed driver is unable to copy the entered log-in data.

Systems and methods for increased security during logging in to web site

A developer zone is provided for use by developers. A method for providing a developer zone may include receiving a request, initializing a provisional computing device, initializing a development computing device, copying data to the provisional computing device, then to the development computing device. A method for providing a developer zone may include copying data from a secured computing device to a provisional computing device, initializing a development computing device, loading at least a portion of the copied data from the provisional computing device to the development computing device, and developing a software package on the development computing device. Using a developer zone may include logging into a terminal server, requesting a copy of at least a portion of secured data, wherein the portion of secured data is first copied onto a provisional computing device and then loaded onto the development computing device, and inputting instructions at the terminal server.

Systems and methods for a development environment

Methods and systems for providing elevated system access to users based on an alert from a monitoring tool or a request for change (RFC). Using the alert or RFC information, a provisioning server may reference the name of an impacted system against a database of privileges needed to allow elevated access to that system. The provisioning server may then initiate a task to provision a user's existing ID or a new ID with the necessary elevated privileges. Once the person closes the alert or RFC, the provisioning server may then remove access for that person, thus providing indirect and temporary access to a company's IT infrastructure and business applications without the use of a group ID or other mechanism to affect repairs on the impacted system(s).
