A first statement of a rule and a first icon associated with the first statement are displayed. A user's selection of the first icon is received, and the selection of a Boolean operator is received in association with the selection. A second statement is displayed, and a link between the first statement and the second statement is displayed to form a compound statement including the first and second statements. The link includes an indication of the Boolean operator selected by the user. Computer-implemented methods for automatically adjusting an opacity of layers in a three-dimensional (3D) object are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request to display data for a 3D object having a plurality of layers, and providing, for display, data for a view of the 3D object. An opacity of each of the layers of the 3D object in the view is adjusted based on a position of the view of the 3D object. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Order sets are presented in different views thereby allowing the doctor to treat a patient in a more intuitive manner. Order set content is created so that order sets can be viewed from varying perspectives. An order set library is modified such that each order statement or orderable is tagged with metadata. Each orderable is tagged with an Intervention tag, a Problem tag, and a System tag. An application may then take the modified order sets and present them to doctors based on an Intervention view, a Problem view, or a System view. These views give the doctor the option of switching between views depending on the severity of a patient's medical condition and allows the doctor to follow a more intuitive and internal mental process when treating a patient. The doctor does not have to translate between different perspectives of the order sets mentally, thereby greatly reducing the doctor's cognitive load.
