A processor may receive a request for a new computing task to be scheduled. The processor may identify that the new computing task requires processing in a cloud computing environment. The processor may identify resource needs of the new computing task. The processor may predict, utilizing an AI model, a future computing task based on the new computing task, where the future computing task requires processing at a future time in the cloud computing environment. The processor may identify resource needs of the future computing task. The processor may select one or more computing node hosts for processing the new computing task based on the future computing task.

Provided are methods, systems, computer program products for scheduling jobs. The method may include receiving a request for allocating resources for a first job, a job comprising information regarding maximum amount of resources required by the job; determining a type of the first job; obtaining at least one backfill of the first job based on the determined type; allocating the maximum amount of resources from system resources to the first job; searching a second job in waiting jobs to be allocated resources, the second job being suitable to be allocated used resources by the first job from the maximum amount of resources allocated to the first job during the at least one backfill; allocating the resources unused by the first job from the maximum amount of resources allocated to the first job to the second job in response to the first job running to the at least one backfill.

One or more currently running workloads are determined to be preempted by a pending workload. Releasable resources from the one or more currently running workloads meet required resources of the pending workload. The vehicle control wearable apparatus includes a detector configured to detect an intoxicating substance intake level of a potential driver of a vehicle; a vehicle operation state controller coupled to the detector and configured to receive the intoxicating substance intake level from the detector; and a first data transceiver coupled to the vehicle operation state controller. The vehicle operation state controller is configured to conduct a comparison between the intoxicating substance intake level and a first threshold level, and control the first data transceiver to send a blocking signal based on a first result of the comparison at a first time point. The blocking signal controlling the vehicle in a blocked state thereby prevents the potential driver from driving the vehicle.

The array substrate includes a base substrate and a plurality of pixel units arranged in matrix on the base substrate, wherein, a first electrode groove and a second electrode groove separated from each other are arranged in a region of the base substrate corresponding to one of the pixel units, the first electrode groove and the second electrode groove respectively extending from an upper surface of the base substrate towards a lower surface of the base substrate; the pixel unit includes a pixel electrode and a common electrode, the pixel electrode being arranged in the first electrode groove, and the common electrode being arranged in the second electrode groove.

The invention relates to modified electrodes for ER fluids prepared by adding a rough, wear-resisting, and low conductive modified layer on the surface of metallic electrodes. The material for the modified layer can be at least one from diamond, alumina, titanium dioxide, carborundum, titanium nitride, nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene, adhesive, and adhesive film. Through the addition of the modified layer, the adhesion of the ER fluid to electrodes is increased so that the shear stress measured near the plates is close to the intrinsic value, which makes the ER fluid applicable, while reducing the leakage current and increasing the breakdown voltage of the ER fluid equipment.

Polar molecules dominated electrorheological fluids mainly comprising a mixture of dispersed phase of solid particles and/or dispersing liquid medium. The dispersed phase solid particles, on the surface, or the liquid dispersing medium contain polar molecules or polar groups, the dipole moment of which is 0.5-10 deb and the size is between 0.1 nm and 0.8 nm. Dispersed phase solid particles are spherical or nearly spherical, of which the size is 10-300 nm and dielectric constant is higher than 50. The conductance rate of the liquid dispersing medium is lower than 10S/m, and the dielectric constant is lower than 10. The PM-ER fluids possess the characteristics of high yield strength, high dynamic shear strength, low leakage current, the linear dependence of yield strength on electric field, and high yield strength at low electric field, etc. The yield strength improves to almost 100 times of that of ordinary ER fluids and reaches to more than 200 Kpa.
