A receptacle connector includes a first terminal assembly, a second terminal assembly mounted on the first terminal assembly with front parts of second terminals being located over front parts of first terminals, a tongue board assembly mounted between the first terminal assembly and the second terminal assembly, and an insulating housing molded outside the first terminal assembly, the second terminal assembly and the tongue board assembly. The tongue board assembly includes an insulating body positioning the front parts of the first terminals and the second terminals in bottom and top faces thereof. Front ends of the first terminals and the second terminals are exposed outside top and bottom faces of a tongue board of the insulating housing, wherein the tongue board together with the front ends of the first terminals and the second terminals are about a horizontal center plane of the tongue board.

Receptacle connector

A universal serial bus connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, an insulating cover, a terminal module and a shielding shell surrounding the insulating housing, the insulating cover and the terminal module. The insulating housing includes a first base body which defines a first holding groove and a second base body which defines a second holding groove. The first terminals and the second terminals are disposed to the first base body. The insulating cover has a main body received in the first holding groove. The terminal module includes an insulating base and a plurality of third terminals integrally molded to the insulating base. The insulating base has a tongue portion received in the second holding groove, and a second supporting portion. A rear surface of the second supporting portion is flush with a rear surface of the first base body.

Universal serial bus connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing having a receiving chamber of substantial U-shape with a top opening, an insulating body assembled to the insulating housing, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, and a shielding shell of substantial inverted-U shape with a top plate and two side plates. The shielding shell is covered on the insulating housing with the top plate covering the top opening of the receiving chamber and the side plates abutting against two opposite outsides of the receiving chamber. So the entire thickness of the electrical connector only depends on a bottom wall of the receiving chamber and the top plate of the shielding shell, and therefore, the electrical connector in this invention can realize a thinner thickness and can effectively reduce the appearance thickness of an electronic product where the electrical connector is used.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes a main housing, an inner housing assembled in the main housing, and a plurality of conductive terminals of which each has a fastening arm molded in the inner housing, a contact arm and a touching arm perpendicular to the contact arm. The contact arms are apart arranged along a transverse direction in front of the inner housing. The touching arms are apart arranged along a longitudinal direction at one side of the inner housing. In use, the touching arms of the conductive terminals are elastically against and further pressed downward by a circuit board to realize electrical connection with the circuit board. It is rather short-time and convenient for mounting the circuit board to the electrical connector. Moreover, the touching arms of the conductive terminals are easily removed from the circuit board for the convenience of replacing the electrical connector when it doesn't work.

A universal serial bus connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of first terminals, second terminals and third terminals disposed to the insulating housing, an insulating cover disposed to a rear end of the insulating housing, a shielding shell surrounding the insulating housing and the insulating cover. Each of the first terminals has a first soldering portion. Each of the second terminals has a second soldering portion. Each of the third terminals has a third soldering portion. The insulating cover defines one row of first insertion slots and one row of second insertion slots. Rear ends of the first soldering portions and the second soldering portions, and the third soldering portions are respectively inserted into the first insertion slots and the second insertion slots. The rear ends of the first soldering portions, the second soldering portions and the third soldering portions are abreast arranged in two rows.

An electrical connector includes a supporting body, an insulating body engaged on the supporting body, a plurality of first terminals integrated in the insulating body, a plurality of second terminals integrated in the supporting body, and a shielding shell enclosing the supporting body and the insulating body. The first and the second terminals have contact portions thereof alternately arranged in two rows in longitudinal direction, and have soldering portions thereof vertically located with tail ends thereof projecting beyond a bottom face of the supporting body. The soldering portions are alternately arranged in two rows in longitudinal direction. The electrical connector of the present invention not only has high signal transmission rate and miniaturized structure, but also can be assembled quickly and accurately, thus it saves a lot of manpower and material resources, reduces the production cost and further improves the production efficiency.

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing having an erect base body and an erect tongue board, a plurality of conductive terminals of which each has a fastening arm vertically disposed in the base body, a contact arm elastically projecting sideward out of a side face of the tongue board, and a touching arm projecting rearward out from a bottom of the base body, a front shell mounted rearward to the insulating housing with the tongue board and the contact arms being apart located therein, and a rear shell covered to the base body and over the touching arms. The touching arms are horizontally arranged at regular intervals along a transverse direction. The electrical connector is mounted onto the circuit board with the touching arms being elastically against and pressed upward by the circuit board to form electrical connection with the circuit board.

A cable-to-board connector includes a plug connector and a receptacle connector. The plug connector includes a plug housing, a plurality of plug terminals disposed in the plug housing, and a plug shielding shell surrounding the plug housing. At least two buckling blocks protrude oppositely from two outer surfaces of two opposite sides of the plug shielding shell. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing, a plurality of receptacle terminals disposed in the receptacle housing, and a receptacle shielding shell defining a receptacle accommodating space therein. The receptacle housing is inserted in a front of the receptacle accommodating space. Each side of the receptacle shielding shell defines at least one second buckling hole. A rear inner periphery of the receptacle shielding shell is attached to a front outer periphery of the plug shielding shell with the buckling blocks being buckled in the second buckling holes.

Cable-to-board connector

An electrical connector adapted for being soldered to a circuit board includes an insulating housing, a shielding shell enclosing the insulating housing, a first terminal pack and a second terminal pack. The first terminal pack includes a first main body, and a plurality of first terminals molded to the first main body. The second terminal pack includes a second main body, and a plurality of second terminals molded to the second main body. The first terminal pack is engaged with the second terminal pack with first soldering portions of the first terminals and second soldering portions of the second terminals being alternately aligned in line to make all of the soldering portions show a single-row arrangement for being soldered with the circuit board. The first and second terminal packs are assembled to the insulating housing together with the shielding shell.

An electrical connector includes a first insulating housing having an erect base board and an erect tongue board extending forwards from a front of the base board, flat terminals molded in the first insulating housing and having a contact portion and a first soldering tail which vertically projects under the base board, a second insulating housing assembled to a right side of the base board, and spring terminals molded in the second insulating housing and having a contact arm and a second soldering tail which vertically projects under the second insulating housing. The contact portions are exposed in a front of a right side of the tongue board and arranged at regular intervals along a vertical direction. The contact arms elastically project sideward out of the right side of the tongue board and are arranged at regular intervals along the vertical direction behind the contact portions.

A Universal Serial Bus connector includes an insulating housing which has a base body, a first tongue and a second tongue extending forward from a lower portion and a bottom of the base body, a plurality of first terminals disposed in the first tongue and each having a contact slice, a plurality of second terminals disposed in the second tongue and each having an elastic arm electrically contacting with the corresponding contact slice, and a shell mounted rearward to the base body with the first tongue being located in the shell and the second tongue resisting under the shell. Soldering tails of the second terminals project out from a front end of the second tongue and are transversely in alignment with one another for being soldered onto a printed circuit board so as to make the Universal Serial Bus connector perpendicularly mounted to the printed circuit board.

An object of the present invention is to provide an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes an insulating housing having a base body and a tongue portion protruding forwards from a front of the base body. A substantial middle of a rear of the base body is concaved forward to form a receiving space. A fixing body is assembled in the receiving space of the insulating housing. A plurality of terminals is molded in the fixing body. A metal shell sheathes rearward the insulating housing together with the fixing body and the terminals. The metal shell has a rear plate curved downward by an external jig to cover a rear side of the fixing body after the metal shell sheathes the insulating housing.

An electrical connector includes a first insulating housing having a base board and a tongue board extending forwards from a front of the base board. Two opposite sides of the base board extend downward to form a pair of clamping boards spaced from each other. A second insulating housing is assembled to the first insulating housing. The second insulating housing has a base portion resisting against rear edges of the clamping boards. A tongue portion protrudes forwards from a front of the base portion to be clamped between the clamping boards. A terminal group includes a plurality of flat terminals and a plurality of spring terminals. The flat terminals are molded in the first insulating housing and the spring terminals are molded in the second insulating housing. A metal shell encloses both the first insulating housing and the second insulating housing.

An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of terminals disposed in top and bottom surfaces of the insulating body, a holding body mounted to a rear of the insulating body and defining a plurality of positioning apertures penetrating vertically therethrough, and an insulating housing having a base body and a tongue board extending forward from a front of the base body. Each terminal has a soldering tail stretching downward beyond a bottom of the rear of the holding body to be positioned in the positioning aperture. A bottom of the tongue board defines a receiving recess extending longitudinally to penetrate through the base body. A rear end of the receiving recess penetrates downward through the base body to define an opening. The insulating body with the terminals and the holding body is inserted forward in the receiving recess, and the holding body is secured in the opening.
