A self-monitoring tire includes a tire body and a tire pressure sensor. The tire body includes a tread rubber for contact with ground, a bead for coupling to a rim, and a sidewall structure including two portions disposed at opposite sides of the tread rubber, and extending from opposite sides of the tread rubber to the bead. The tire pressure sensor is disposed between respective outward surfaces of the two portions of the sidewall structure, and secured on or embedded in either one of the two portions of the sidewall structure.

Self-monitoring tire of vehicle

An interlaced array antenna includes first and second groups of antenna units, which are of the same size in the same group and different sizes in different groups. Each antenna unit is polygon-shaped with even-numbered edges, and has feed-in terminal and coupling terminal at two corners. A preceding one and a succeeding one of the antenna units included in the first group are interconnected via a specified one of the antenna units in the second group. An input signal is transmitted through the feed-in terminal and then the coupling terminal of the preceding antenna unit, the feed-in terminal and then the coupling terminal of the specified antenna unit, and the feed-in terminal and then the coupling terminal of the succeeding antenna unit in sequence. Configurations of adjacent two antenna units in the same group are identical once one of them is flipped about the x-axis.

Interlaced array antenna

An antenna system includes an antenna array, a control device and a driving mechanism. The antenna array includes a plurality of antenna units disposed on a flexible substrate, wherein a configuration of the flexible substrate is variable so as to change relative positions of at least two of the antenna units. The control device determines the configuration of the flexible substrate according to a default setting or in response to a dynamic input. The driving mechanism is connected between the flexible substrate and the control device for driving the change of the configuration of the flexible substrate in response to a command from the control device.

Dynamically adjusted antenna system and antenna array included therein

A mobile navigation system includes: a radar antenna carried by the vehicle, and emitting first and second sensing beams at first and second time points, respectively; first and second retro-directive antennas or beam-reflecting objects disposed at first and second positions, respectively, and being a specific distance from each other; and a processing device electrically coupled to the radar antenna. The first and second retro-directive antennas or beam-reflecting objects respectively return first and second retro waves corresponding to a direction of the first sensing beam, and respectively return third and fourth retro waves corresponding to a direction of the second sensing beam. The processing device receives the first, second, third and fourth retro waves, and determines a moving direction of the vehicle according to the first, second, third and fourth retro waves and the specific distance.

Mobile navigation method and system

An antenna array includes an external input signal feeding point for receiving or transmitting therefrom an input signal or an output signal; signal transmission lines; and antenna units including a starting antenna unit coupled to the external input signal feeding point via a starting feeding point thereof, and being interconnected via the plurality of signal transmission lines. The input/output signal delivered from the external input signal feeding point enters the starting antenna unit from the starting feeding point and is further transmitted to the other antenna units through the signal transmission lines. Each of the antenna units is defined with a default feeding point at a position corresponding to a position of the starting feeding point in the starting antenna unit. One of the signal transmission lines has an end directly coupled to one of the antenna units at an actual feeding point different from the default feeding point for receiving therefrom the input signal.

Antenna array with adjustable signal-feeding points

A mobile navigation system includes a directive beamforming antenna carried by the vehicle, emitting first and second sensing beams in first and second directions at first and second time points, respectively; an electromagnetic wave reflector installed in the target zone, receiving the first and second sensing beams, and transmitting first and second retro waves back; and a processor electrically coupled to the directive beamforming antenna, receiving the first and second retro waves, and determining a direction where the vehicle will be guided to move according to information of the first and second retro waves. A coverage area of the first sensing beam and a coverage area of the second sensing beam partially overlaps with each other, and the direction where the vehicle will be guided to move lies between the first direction and the second direction.

In an intelligent monitoring system, a wireless signal processing device transmits a wireless signal toward a first target object in a monitored area, receives a wireless status signal, and generates a monitoring signal corresponding to the first target object according to the wireless status signal. In addition, at least one signal-relaying device receives a back scattering signal, which is reflected from the first target object in response to the wireless signal, transfers the back scattering signal into the wireless status signal, and transmits the wireless status signal to the wireless signal processing device. The signal-relaying device includes a power supply device for supplying power for operations of the signal-relaying device, and the signal-relaying device is disposed in the monitored area between the first target object and the wireless signal processing device.

Intelligent monitoring system and method

An impedance matching structure is disposed on a circuit board for matching an impedance of a transmission line for transmitting an electronic signal. The structure includes: at least two redundant conducting sections coupled to different points between an input terminal and an output terminal of the transmission line, wherein the redundant conducting sections are apart from one another, and a first terminal of each of the redundant conducting sections is coupled to the transmission line, while a second terminal of each of the redundant conducting sections is apart from the transmission line; and at least one grounded conducting section, each of which corresponds to one of the redundant conducting sections, and surrounds in separation from the corresponding redundant conducting section, wherein each of the at least two redundant conducting sections is disposed in a corresponding plating hole.

Impedance matching structure of transmission line

In a testing circuit performing a testing operation to detect an RF circuit characteristic, a first filter unit is provided, having a first external terminal electrically coupled to a testing signal and a second external terminal electrically coupled to an RF circuit of the RF device. The first filter unit is configured to allow the testing signal to enter the RF circuit while blocking an RF signal transmitted in the RF circuit from entering the testing circuit. In addition, a testing-result informing unit is provided, having an external input electrically coupled to the first external terminal, and generating an informing signal, which indicates a condition of the RF circuit according to an electric level at the external input.

Circuit and method for testing RF device and RF device with built-in testing circuit

A characteristic impedance of an electric transmission line is measured by way of extraction. In the method, a first probe and a second probe are provided, wherein the first probe and the second probe are separable and independently operable probes. A first characteristic impedance of a first circuit where a first terminal of the first probe and a first terminal of the second probe are directly interconnected to each other is first measured. Then a second characteristic impedance of a second circuit where the first terminal of the first probe and the first terminal of the second probe are connected to opposite terminals of the electric transmission line, respectively, is measured. The characteristic impedance of the electric transmission line can then be obtained according to the first characteristic impedance and the second characteristic impedance.

Method for measuring characteristic impedance of electric transmission line

An IP camera includes a camera unit for picking up images of a target object; a wireless signal processing unit for transmitting an intelligent monitoring ng a wireless signal to the target object and receiving a scattering wireless signal reflected from the target object; and a signal processing unit electrically coupled to the camera unit and the wireless signal processing unit for receiving a data corresponding to the image of the target object from the camera unit and a data corresponding to the scattering wireless signal reflected from the wireless signal processing unit. The signal processing unit analyzes the data corresponding to the image of the target object to obtain a status ate information and generates a reference signal according to the status information, and the reference signal is processed together with the data corresponding to the scattering wireless signal by the signal processing unit to generate a change detection signal.

In an RF device, an RF circuit includes at least two RF transmitting/receiving elements; and an RF switch controlled to selectively electrically couple to one of the RF transmitting/receiving elements for transmitting/receiving an RF signal in response to a control signal. In addition, a testing circuit includes a first filter unit having a first external terminal electrically coupled to a testing signal and a second external terminal electrically coupled to the RF circuit, wherein the first filter unit is configured to allow the testing signal to enter the RF circuit while blocking an RF signal transmitted in the RF circuit from entering the testing circuit; and a testing-result informing unit having an external input electrically coupled to the first external terminal, and determining contents of the control signal according to an electric level at the external input.

In an RF device, an RF circuit includes an RF circuit connector optionally coupling thereto an RF element for transmitting or receiving an RF signal; and a power supply module selectively outputting power to the RF circuit connector according to a control signal.
