A method for estimating parameters of a DC machine by the least-squares method is performed by a computer system. The method includes establishing a transient model of the DC machine; expressing discrete values of the terminal voltage, the armature current and the rotational speed of the DC machine by the polynomial regression after the DC machine is started; obtaining estimated values of an armature resistance, an armature inductance and a back electromotive force constant by the least-squares method; calculating a torque based on the back electromotive force constant and the armature current; obtaining estimated values of a moment of inertia and a viscous friction coefficient by the least-squares method; and outputting the estimated values of the armature resistance, the armature inductance, the back electromotive force constant, the moment of inertia and the viscous friction coefficient. As such, the accuracy and reliability in estimating the parameters of the DC machine can be improved, achieving high computational efficiency and simplifying the operation procedure.

Method and apparatus for estimating parameters of a DC machine by least-squares method

An oscillation control system includes an actuator, a sensor unit, and a control module. An actuator includes at least one piezoelectric material coupled with an electrode. The sensor unit is located on the actuator and is configured to detect an acceleration value of deformation of the actuator. A control module includes an operational unit and a gain unit. The operational unit generates an operational result according to the acceleration value and conditions of the actuator. The gain unit is coupled to the operational unit and the electrode and is configured to convert the operational result into a control signal which adjusts the actuator. An oscillation control method includes using a reciprocal state space system to proceed with closed-loop control of a state derivative feedback. The reciprocal state space system is represented by a plurality of equations.

Oscillation control system and oscillation control method

An adjustment method of an atmos clock and a detection system performing the adjustment method are provided. The adjustment method includes detecting a magnetic field around a balance wheel of the atmos clock via a magnetic sensor, generating a measured signal, receiving the measured signal via a processing unit, and performing a clamping process on the measured signal. A clamping value is subtracted from the measured signal to generate a clamped signal. A zero value line crosses a waveform of the clamped signal to form a zero crossing point in each of the periods of swing motion of the balance wheel. The adjustment method further includes retrieving a time of the zero crossing point, calculating a time difference between the zero crossing points of two adjacent periods, calculating a length of the period according to the calculated time difference, and outputting the calculated length to an output device.

Adjustment method of an atmos clock and detection system performing the same

A method for estimating parameters of a direct current machine by Laplace transform performed by a computer system. The method includes establishing a transient model of the DC machine and a transfer function based on the transient mode; transforming the transfer function from the time domain to the frequency domain by the Laplace transform to obtain each of an armature current and a rotational speed of the DC machine as a function of frequency; expressing the armature current and the rotational speed as polynomial fractions by polynomial regression, and comparing the functions of the frequency and the polynomial fractions to output values of the armature resistance, the armature inductance, the back electromotive force constant, the moment of inertia and the friction coefficient. As such, the accuracy and operational efficiency in estimating the parameters of the DC machine can be improved.

Method for estimating parameters of a DC machine by the laplace transform

A filter configuration including a substrate, a primary microstrip line and a first defected ground structure is disclosed. The substrate has a first face and a second face. The second face is a ground face. The primary microstrip line is arranged on the first face and extends in a first direction. The first defected ground structure is arranged on the second face. The first defected ground structure includes a first section, a first circular section, a second section, a second circular section and a third section that are connected to each other in sequence in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second section is covered by the primary microstrip line in a vertical direction perpendicular to the first and second faces. The primary microstrip line has a width equal to a minimum length of the second section. As such, the filtering effect can be improved.

A step impedance resonator filter including a first resonator and a second resonator is disclosed. The first resonator includes a first coupled line and a first tapped line connected to the first coupled line. The second resonator includes a second coupled line and a second tapped line connected to the second coupled line. The second coupled line is coupled with the first coupled line. The first tapped line has a first central line which is spaced from an end face of the first coupled line at a first distance. The second tapped line has a second central line which is spaced from an end face of the second coupled line at a second distance. The first distance is larger than the second distance. As such, the performance of the step impedance resonator filter can be improved.

A method for determining parameter values of an induction machine. The method may be executed by a dedicated computer system. The method includes sampling a voltage signal, a current signal and a rotational speed signal of the induction machine at the time the induction machine is started, calculating a resistance and a reactance of the induction machine at each of a plurality of slip rates according to the voltage signal and the current signal, calculating a plurality of coefficients of a polynomial fraction based on the resistances and the reactances, calculating the parameter values of an equivalent circuit according to the plurality of coefficients of the polynomial fraction, calculating a moment of inertia and a friction coefficient of the induction machine according to the calculated parameter values and the rotational speed signal of the equivalent circuit, and outputting the moment of inertia and the friction coefficient of the induction machine.

Method for determining parameter values of an induction machine by means of polynominal calculations

A, a frequency-to-voltage converter including a calculation module, a quantification module and a signal processing module is disclosed. The calculation module receives a frequency signal and calculates a rotational speed signal according to the frequency signal. The quantification module is coupled with the calculation module and receives the rotational speed signal. The quantification module quantifies the rotational speed signal according to a quantification equation and generates a digital quantified signal. The signal processing module is coupled with the quantification module, receives the digital quantified signal, and converts the digital quantified signal into a digital voltage signal. As such, the proper transition time and ripple magnitude can be endured at the same time.

Frequency-to-voltage converter

An evaluation device is adapted for providing a transceiver system with performance information thereof. The transceiver system models a channel between a transmitter and a receiver thereof using Nakagami distribution with a fading parameter. The evaluation device includes a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) computing module, a capacity computing module, and an output module. The SNR computing module is operable to set an average SNR for the channel between the transmitter and the receiver, and to compute an expected value and variance of an effective SNR of the transceiver system according to the fading parameter and the average SNR. The capacity computing module is operable to compute an outage capacity of the transceiver system based upon the expected value and the variance of the effective SNR and a transmission outage parameter. The output module is operable to provide the transceiver system with the average SNR and the outage capacity.

A method for extracting feature vectors from a palm image includes the steps of: determining a palm contour in the palm image, and labeling pixels on the palm contour as contour pixels in order along the palm contour; determining a rotation angle of the palm contour relative to a coordinate system; obtaining corrected contour pixels to offset the rotation angle; determining a plurality of feature points from the corrected contour pixels; obtaining a plurality of sub-images from the palm image with reference to the feature points, one of the sub-images corresponding to a palm center and another one of the sub-images corresponding to a corresponding palm finger; and determining the feature vectors with reference to the sub-images, each of the feature vectors corresponding to a corresponding one of the sub-images.

An evaluation device is configured to provide a transceiver system with performance information thereof. The transceiver system models a channel between a transmitter and a receiver thereof using Nakagami distribution with a fading parameter. The evaluation device includes a setting module operable to set an average signal-to-noise rate (SNR) for the channel between the transmitter and the receiver, a computing module operable to estimate a symbol error rate related to a signal received by the receiver from the transmitter based upon the fading parameter and the average SNR, and an output module operable to provide the average SNR and the symbol error rate as the performance information of the transceiver system.

A modeling method of neuro-fuzzy system including a rule-defining process and a network-building process is disclosed. The rule-defining process divides a plurality of training data into a plurality of groups to accordingly define a plurality of fuzzy rules, and the network-building process constructs a fuzzy neural network based on the fuzzy rules obtained by the rule-defining process. The provided modeling method of neuro-fuzzy system is capable of building a neuro-fuzzy system extremely similar to an original function that generates training data of the neuro-fuzzy system.

This analysis method comprises: building structures of a first system model and a second system model to respectively simulate a first system and a second system; building detailed models of the first and second system model; and analyzing the detailed models of the first and second system model in frequency- and time-domain.

A system for computing machine parameters of an induction machine includes a relation providing module and a circuit parameter computing module. The relation providing module is operable to provide a relationship between slip rates and primary side resistances of the induction machine and a relationship between the slip rates and primary side reactances of the induction machine. The circuit parameter computing module is operable to perform a parameter computing process according to the relationships obtained from the relation providing module. The parameter computing process includes the steps of: a) generating a set of initial values of equivalent circuit parameters of the induction machine; b) updating the initial values; c) calculating a cumulative resistance error and a cumulative reactance error; and d) repeating steps b) and c) until the cumulative resistance error and the cumulative reactance error are smaller than first and second error thresholds, respectively.

An electroencephalogram signal processing method includes a recording step, a retrieving step, a removing step and a synthesizing step. The recording step retrieves EEG signal components of a testee via a plurality of electrodes, wherein the EEG signal components serve as an input signal. The retrieving step filters the input signal to obtain a predetermined frequency band signal, and subtracts the predetermined frequency band signal from the input signal to obtain a difference signal. The removing step performs an independent component analysis operation between the difference signal and a separating matrix to obtain an analysis signal, generates a separating pseudo inverse and an independent analysis signal, and performs a matrix operation between the separating pseudo inverse and the independent analysis signal to obtain a corrected signal. The synthesizing step adds the corrected signal and the predetermined frequency band signal together to obtain an output signal.
