The biotelemetry device () comprises a microcontroller () for generating an electrical setpoint signal (CS); a radio antenna () for transmitting an electromagnetic wave (EMS) by converting an incident electrical signal (IS); a radiofrequency circuit (), interconnected between the microcontroller () and the radio antenna (). Disclosed is a radio antenna comprising a substrate of dielectric material; a ground plane of electrically conductive material on a first face of the substrate; a resonator for converting an incident electrical signal into an electromagnetic wave and for resonating at at least two different resonant frequencies. The resonator comprises at least three elements, each in the form of strips of conductive material and arranged on a second face of the substrate opposite the first face. A second element is electrically connected to the ground plane by means of a via passing through the substrate at a first end of the corresponding strip, forms an extension of the first element, and is electrically connected directly to the first element at a second end of said strip which is opposite the first end.

Multi-band low profile radio antenna

The radio antenna comprises a substrate formed of a dielectric material; a ground plane made of an electrically conductive material, the ground plane being arranged on a first face (F) of the substrate; a resonator configured to convert an incident electrical signal into an electromagnetic wave. The resonator includes a first element (E) having a first characteristic impedance and a second element (E) having a second characteristic impedance that is higher than the first characteristic impedance. The first element (E) is configured to receive the incident electrical signal, the first element (E) is formed by a strip of electrically conductive material, the strip being arranged on a second face (F) of the substrate opposite the first face (F). The second element (E) is formed by a rectilinear segment, cut in the ground plane and separated from the rest of the ground plane by a slot () of fixed width. Low-profile, impedance-robust radio antenna

The present disclosure relates to a multilayer electromagnetic waveguide that includes a plurality of layers forming guide channels for an electromagnetic wave, and at least one transition device including at least one dielectric layer between two guide channels, referred to as coupled guide channels, extending as an extension. Each transition device includes at least one adaptation channel extending in a longitudinal direction, and each adaptation channel is defined by two electrically conductive walls. At least one wall extends along the dielectric spacer layer from one end of the coupled guide channel, over a length suitable for optimizing the transmission of an electromagnetic wave between the two coupled guide channels.

A compact Butler matrix consists a planar multilayer structure comprising N parallel metal plate waveguides PPW, stacked one on top of the other, two adjacent waveguides PPW comprising a common wall consisting of one of the metal plates. The couplers, the phase-shifters and the crossover devices of the Butler matrix consist of metasurfaces incorporated in the metal plates. The planar two-dimensional beam-former can comprise a Butler matrix with waveguides PPW associated with optical lenses incorporated in each waveguide PPW. A multilayer antenna is provided, which includes a power supply portion generating a wave, a radiating portion, and a guide portion that makes it possible to guide the wave from the power supply portion to the radiating portion. The guide portion includes: at least two stacked guide layers having parallel planes and, for each pair of adjacent layers, a transition between the adjacent layers, including a reflector engaging with a slot-coupling. For at least one pair of adjacent layers, for which the guide portion includes a non-planar reflector, the slot-coupling includes a plurality of slots. Each slot includes a main body that is elongate along at least one axis. The slots are placed on at least one row and together form a pattern that extends along the reflector and has a shape that is dependent on the shape of the reflector.
