A system for forming a homogenized illumination line which can be imaged as a low-speckle line is disclosed. The system includes a laser configured to emit a collimated laser beam; and an illumination-fan generator that includes one or more linear diffusers. The illumination-fan generator is arranged and configured to (i) receive the collimated laser beam, (ii) output a planar fan of diffused light, such that the planar fan emanates from a light line formed on the distal-most one of the one or more linear diffusers, and (iii) cause formation of an illumination line at an intersection of the planar fan and an object.

Methods, systems, and devices involving patterned radiation are provided in accordance with various embodiments. Some embodiments include a device for projecting pattern radiation. Some embodiments include a method for estimating coordinates of a location on an object in a 3D scene. Some embodiments include a system for estimating the coordinates of a location on an object in a 3D scene. A variety of radiation patterns are provided in accordance with various embodiments. Some embodiments may relate to the use of patterned illumination to identify the angular information that may be utilized to measure depth by triangulation.

A fender hanging device may include a back plate coupled to a first arm and to a second arm. A cavity may be formed between the back plate, the first arm, and the second arm. A channel may separate the first arm and second arm. An upper limiter may be coupled to the back plate opposite the first arm and second arm, and a block aperture may pass through the upper limiter. Optionally, a flexible linkage having a body with one or more linkage fasteners coupled to the body. A fender retainer may be coupled to the flexible linkage, and the fender retainer may have an annular frame. A fender may be coupled to the annular frame, and the fender may be movable between a first position, a second position, and/or any number of other positions.
