Mixtures of certain triazole fungicides (component I) and 4,6-dimethyl-N-phenyl-2-pyrimidinamine (component II) achieve synergistically enhanced activity against fungus infestation. Components I and II can also be applied to plant crops individually, one immediately after the other.

A plant-microbicidal composition having synergistic action, comprising at least two active ingredient components, wherein component I is a compound selected from the group (IA) 1-[3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(4-fiuorophenyl)oxiran-2-ylmethyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazo le ('epoxiconazol'); (IB) 4-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-phenyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-butyronitrile ('fenbuconazol'); (IC) 5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-cyclopenta nol ('metconazol'); (ID) 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propyl-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro ethyl ether ('tetracon azol'); (IE) .alpha.-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)ethyl]-.alpha.-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1H-1,2,4-tri azole-1-ethanol ('tebuconazol'); (IF) 1-[4-bromo-2-(2,4-dichlorophcnyl)tetrahydrofurfuryl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole ('bromuconazol'); or in each case one of the salts or metal complexes thereof; and component II is (IIA) 1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-ylmethyl]-1H-1,2,4-triaz ole ('propiconazol') and/or (IIB) 4-cyclopropyl-6-methyl-N-phenyl-2-pyrimidineamine ('cyprodinil'), or in each case one of the salts or metal complexes thereof.

A plant-microbicidal composition having synergistic action, comprising at least two active ingredient components, wherein component I is a compound selected from the group IA) cis-4-[3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-2-methylpropyl]-2,6-dimethylmorpholine (fenpropimorph'); and/or 1-[3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-2-methylpropyl]-piperidine ('fenpropidin'), or one of the salts or metal complexes thereof; IB) 4-(2,2-difluoro-1,3-benzodioxol-4-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile ('fludioxonil'); IC) N-(trichloromethylthio)cyclohex-4-ene-1,2-dicarboximide('captan'); ID) a compound of formula ID ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is fluorine or chlorine and R.sub.2 is chlorine or trifluoromethyl, and IE) N-(trichloromethylthio)phthalimide ('folpet'); and component II is the 2-anilinopyrimidine of formula II ##STR2## 4-cyclopropyl-6-methyl-N-phenyl-2-pyrimidineamine, or one of the salts or metal complexes thereof.

Microbicidal composition for use in plants, having a synergistic action and comprising at least two active ingredient components, in which component I is a compound selected from the group of the compounds ##STR1## in which: X is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, cyano, thiocarbamoyl or nitro, and Y is hydrogen or fluorine; ##STR2## in which: Z radicals are identical or different and are halogen, cyano, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, phenyl, phenoxy or benzyl, these aromatic groups being unsubstituted or not more than trisubstituted by identical or different substituents from the series comprising halogen, cyano, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or trifluoromethyl, and n is 0 to 3; and ##STR3## in which: U is oxygen or the group --CH.sub.2 O--, A radicals are identical or different and are halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or trifluoromethyl, and n is0to 3; and in which component II is the 2-anilinopyrimidine of the formula II ##STR4## 4-cyclopropyl-6-methyl-N-phenyl-2-pyrimidineamine or a salt or a metal complex thereof.
