A pipe handler for handling tubular members of a well system includes a mounting member for mounting the pipe handler to a structure of the well system, a first arm having a first end coupled to a structure of the well system, and a second end, wherein the first arm is configured to pivot relative to the mounting member about a first axis, a second arm having a first end and a second end, a connector coupled to the second end of the first arm and the first end of the second arm, and wherein the connector is configured to rotate the second arm about a second axis and a guide member coupled to the second end of the second arm for guiding a tubular member, wherein the second arm is configured to pivot relative to the connector about a third axis.

Pipe stand transfer system

Generally, the subject matter disclosed herein relates to an impact absorbing 'diving board,' or access platform, of a drilling rig 'fingerboard,' or pipe racking assembly. One illustrative diving board assembly of a drilling rig fingerboard assembly disclosed herein includes a first end proximate the drilling rig and a second end positioned remote from the first end, where the first end is more proximal to the drilling rig than the second end. The illustrative diving board assembly further includes a clamping assembly operatively coupled to the first end and to the second end, where the clamping assembly is positioned between the first and second ends and defines a pinned connection adapted to permit a rotation of the first and second ends relative to a plane defined by the fingerboard assembly.

Subsea intervention system, method and components thereof

A tubing injector () includes a traction device () having opposed grippers () laterally moveable so as to move a respective chain link member () of an endless loop chain into gripping engagement with the coiled tubing. A drive motor () is provided for powering the endless loop chain, and a plurality of roller bearings () each act between a respective chain link member and a gripper. A pressure compensating device () subjects fluid in a fluid passageway in the roller bearing () to a fluid pressure functionally related to subsea pressure. The tubing injector may be used for injecting the coiled tubing subsea into a wellhead or into another flowline.
