An electrical contact element, in particular for a medical implant, including a spring sleeve with a bushing for receiving an electrical mating contact in a direction of insertion, at least one groove that is arranged transversely around the bushing at least in areas and that is open to the bushing at least in areas; at least one spring element, arranged in the groove, for electrically contacting the electrical mating contact. Here, at least one feed-through channel is provided to feed the spring element into the peripheral groove and leads from an outer face of the spring sleeve to the at least one groove. The invention further relates to a method for producing a contact element and also to a device for carrying out the method.

Contact element and method for producing a contact element

A spring contact component for a plug socket of an electromedical implant, with a coil surrounding the outer periphery of a plug opening. A simpler, more cost effective and automatable design of a plug socket module can be achieved in that at least one end of the coil is electrically and mechanically connected directly to a connector pin via a wire-shaped and/or strip-shaped element. The invention also relates to a corresponding plug socket module, a modular header, and a method for producing a spring contact component of this type.

A contact configuration for producing an electrical connection between a plug and a socket, preferably for connecting an electrode to an electronic implantable device (such as a pacemaker), has a contact section on the plug and/or the socket. The contact section includes metallic conductive fibers which project between the plug and socket when the socket receives the plug. The contact configuration has a high degree of redundancy in providing electrical communication between the socket and plug, and high contact stability under mechanical load. In addition, friction corrosion is avoided.
