The present disclosure relates to an oil extended ethylene alpha-olefin composition including an olefin oligomer and an ethylene copolymer; where the olefin oligomer has a Number Average Molecular Weight of greater than about 200 g/mole; where the composition has a Shear Thinning Ratio of greater than about 100, a Phase Angle of less than about 45 degrees, a Mooney Large Viscosity (1+4@125&#xb0; C.) of greater than about 40 Mooney units, and a Mooney Large Relaxation Area of greater than about 500 Mooney unit seconds.

Ethylene copolymer with in-situ oil production

The present invention relates to a branched modifier and a composition comprising more than 25 wt % (based on the weight of the composition) of one or more linear ethylene polymers having a g'of 0.97 or more and an Mof 20,000 g/mol or more and at least 0.1 wt % of a branched modifier where the modifier has a g&#x2032;of less than 0.97, wherein the ethylene polymer has a g&#x2032;of at least 0.01 units higher than the g&#x2032;of the branched modifier.

The polymer blend has a melting temperature, Tm, of at least 135&#xb0; C., a melt flow rate of at least 70 dg/min, a tensile strength of at least 8 MPa, an elongation at break of at least 300%.
