An electric coolant pump for providing an automotive cooling circuit with a coolant includes an electric motor to drive the electric coolant pump, a pump housing, a separating can, a printed circuit board, and permanently height-adjusted supporting elements. The separating can includes a substantially plane separating can bottom wall which lies in a cross plane, and a substantially cylindrical separating can shell which fluidically separates a wet zone from a dry zone. The printed circuit board is arranged substantially parallel to and not in direct contact with the separating can bottom wall so that an axial gap exists which is filled with a heat conductive means. The supporting elements axially support the plane printed circuit board. Each supporting element has a distal tip which is trimmed to define a height-constant axial gap having a nominal gap height between the printed circuit board and the separating can bottom wall.

An automotive fluid pump arrangement includes a pump unit having an axial pump unit stop surface, and a mounting device which supports and mounts the pump unit. The mounting device has a support part having a ring-shape. The support part radially encloses, supports, and provides a vibration-decoupling of the pump unit. The support part has an axial support part stop surface which corresponds to and which cooperates with the axial pump unit stop surface so as to axially stop the pump unit in an axial mounting direction, a mounting part which attaches the mounting device to a corresponding motor vehicle mounting structure, and a tensioned friction enhancing longitudinal lip ring which is arranged to surround the pump unit utricularly so as to frictionally lock the pump unit in an axial dismounting direction.

A motor vehicle auxiliary assembly electric motor includes a motor stator with stator coils. The motor stator is electronically commutated. A control electronics system drives the stator coils and is potted in a cast body. An electronics chamber is closed-off and has the control electronics system and the cast body arranged therein. A gas chamber is arranged adjacent to the cast body. A pressure equalization element ventilates and vents the gas chamber. An aeration shaft is arranged to pass through the cast body and fluidically connects the gas chamber to the atmosphere. The pressure equalization element is fluidically associated with the aeration shaft.

An electric motor vehicle coolant pump includes a pump rotor which pumps a coolant and a drive motor which drives the pump rotor. The drive motor includes a dry motor stator comprising motor coils, a wet motor rotor, and a gap tube configured to separate the dry motor stator and the wet motor rotor from each other in a fluid-tight manner. The gap tube is formed by an integral sheet metal body which, in a gap region between the wet motor rotor and the dry motor stator consists of an austenitic high-grade steel comprising a material thickness of &#x3c;0.5 mm, a hardness of from 200 to 500, a specific electrical resistance &#x3e;0.10&#x3a9;&#xd7;mm/m, and a relative magnetic permeability&#x3c;20. The integral sheet metal body forms a sheet metal shell sliding bearing shell of a sliding bearing to radially mount the wet motor rotor.

Electric motor vehicle coolant pump

An electric motor vehicle coolant pump for cooling an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle includes a pump housing and a rotor rotatably supported in the pump housing. The rotor comprises a motor rotor configured to be substantially pot-shaped. The motor rotor comprises a pot bottom and a ferromagnetic substance so as to be magnetized in at least a bipolar manner. A pump rotor comprises a plurality of rotor blades and an annular cover ring arranged on distal ends of the plurality of rotor blades. The plurality of rotor blades are configured to stand directly on the pot bottom of the motor rotor. The pump rotor and the motor rotor are each integral plastic material parts separately produced by an injection molding. The pump rotor and the motor rotor are made from different materials. The pump rotor is not ferromagnetic.

The housing cover arrangement comprises a membrane, at least one ventilation opening, a main cover element comprising a recess, and a cover closure element. The drive motor comprises a plastic carrier panel lying in a transverse plane arranged at a longitudinal end of the drive motor. The plastic carrier panel comprises, on a side facing the motor rotor, at least two commutator brushes and suppression reactance coils assigned to the at least two commutator brushes. Suppression capacitors are arranged on a side averted from the motor rotor. A valve body. A reduction gearing is connected to the drive motor. The reduction gearing is mechanically connected to the valve body.

Motor vehicle internal combustion motor exhaust gas recirculation valve having a mechanically commutated drive motor

A wet-running direct-current motor for a fuel pump having a commutator ( ) formed from carbon lamellas ( ), and carbon brushes ( ) having brush running faces ( ) which are fluted in the direction of rotation. The fluting is obtained by curved, parallel ribs of triangular cross-sections whose apexes define the brush running face. The curved ribs have radii offset from the curvature of the commutator surface, the offset being achieved by offset of the center of the radius of each rib in a direction counter to the direction of relative rotation of the commutator and brushes. The motor is rendered usable for fuel pumps of diesel engines.

Wet-running direct-current motor having fluted brush contact faces

An electric fuel pump for an internal combustion engine in which a pump mechanism is provided in a housing for pumping fuel from an inlet to an outlet of the housing. A d.c. motor in the housing is drivingly connected to the pump mechanism, the fuel flowing through the housing past the motor to the outlet. A module including a commutation circuit for the d.c. motor is sealed in the housing from the fuel which flows therearound and cools the module. The module is constructed with an injection-molded casing around the circuit which is connected to stator windings of the motor and to an outside power supply.

Electric fuel pump

A pump-motor unit for pumping a coolant for cooling an internal combustion engine in which a centrifugal pump is connected to an electrically commutated d.c. motor to be driven thereby. A power electronic circuit is mounted on a plate and installed in the unit in connection with the d.c. motor to operate the motor in accordance with signals delivered to said power electronic circuit from an external power source. A cooling body is supported in the unit to cool the power electronic circuit by transferring heat from the power electronic circuit to the coolant. The centrifugal pump and the d.c. motor are interconnected through the cooling body.
