A rail bracket mounting system, including a bracket that is attached to a post. The bracket is formed to support the notching of a rail. The end of a rail is then nested into the bracket, and is supported by the bracket. The rail is then secured to the bracket by fasteners such as screws, and a cover may then be placed over the bracket, housing the securing fasteners. The rail may be hollow or solid. A hollow rail may be reinforced along its entire length by the insertion of one or more reinforcing members through a hollow portion of the rail.

Units for storing flexible elongated objects are disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment, the storage unit includes a left end portion and a right end portion. An upper left recess and a lower left recess are disposed in the left end portion. The upper left recess is located between a left upper post and a left center post, and the lower left recess is located between the left center post and a left lower post. An upper right recess and a lower right recess are disposed in the right end portion. The upper right recess is located between a right upper post and a right center post, and the lower right recess is located between the right center post and a right lower post. The upper left recess is substantially aligned with the upper right recess, and the lower left recess is substantially aligned with the lower right recess.

Units for storing flexible elongated objects

A modular fence system. The system includes fence planks designed for insertion into open channels of upper and lower fence rails. The fence rails are supported in a horizontal orientation between intermittent fence posts, with the open channels facing toward a vertical direction and with the fence planks extending vertically between the rails and into the channels. The planks preferably include resilient protrusions at their upper ends. The protrusions of the planks are designed to fit into internal passages formed in the open channels of the upper fence rail, into engagement with ledges defining the passages, to inhibit inadvertent removal of the planks from the upper rail. The fence rails can also be used in a different way and in a different position, in which the open channels face toward a horizontal direction, with an elongate cap coupled to the rail to cover the open channel. Plank members are coupled to the cap such that the cap resides between the plank members and the rail.

A mounting clip with a locking feature. The mounting clip is preferably utilized as part of a fencing system, in which the clip is attached to a fence rail and a hollow fence picket is slidably fastened to the rail using the clip. The clip features tabs that operate to lock the picket to the rail such that detachment of the picket from the rail is inhibited by an interference fit.

A deck system with a deck clip. The deck system includes deck boards in which receiving chambers are formed. The receiving chambers are formed in both opposing side edges of each deck board, and each chamber is defined in part by a lip edge. The deck boards are placed side by side during construction of a deck, closely spaced, such that the lip edges of adjacent deck boards define a narrow channel space therebetween in which a rotatable deck clip is placed. The clip has a first overhang member and an opposing second overhang member and is thereby wider in a first horizontal dimension and shorter in a second, perpendicular horizontal dimension, and is rotatably attached to the deck joists by a screw or other fastening device. When the clip is rotated into a first position, its first and second overhang members extend into the receiving chambers of adjacent deck boards and engage with the lip edges of each chamber to hold the deck boards securely in place upon the joists. Users may easily remove a deck board by simply rotating the clip ninety degrees to thereby move the overhang members of the clip into the channel space between the lip edges, and the deck boards are thereby released.

A cap and mounting for a fencing system that includes a number of straight plastic tubes that are cut appropriately into posts, cross members and pickets as the fence members and are for connection together to form a picket fence, with embodiments of cap arrangements for fitting over an open top end of each post and picket that includes a connectorless coupling for each cap for locking the cap onto each post and picket by urging a lower cap end into the post or picket, whereby ends of a lock bar are urged into the post or picket inner side walls, securing the cap thereon.

Cap and mounting for a fence system

A fencing system with mounting clip for joining fencing members to one another. The system includes a number of straight plastic tubes that are cut appropriately into posts, cross members and pickets as the fence members and are for connection together using mounting clips to form a picket fence. The mounting clip is for joining the fence members together is formed from a section of a stiff material, such as spring steel, for attachment to a post or cross fence member, has an upper section that is bent at intervals thereacross and includes a broad lower end section. The lower end section has a flat end and is bent at spaced intervals thereacross, upwardly and then downwardly to where the flat end is approximately aligned with the flat center section undersurface. The mounting clip is to fit into a keyhole opening that is formed in fence member fitted, with the mounting clip broad lower end to fit through a keyhole opening wide end. Whereafter, the keyhole containing fence member is slide across the mounting clip to where an end of a keyhole narrow rectangular portion engages a mounting clip upper end wall. So arranged, with a keyhole broad lower end will have traveled up the keyhole opening to span the keyhole rectangular portion, with end portions of the mounting clip flat end thereby urged into the fence member surface alongside of the rectangular portion, to block the mounting member from sliding out of the keyhole opening.

A cantilever mounting system for mounting a tube to a post to extend at approximately a right angle from the post that is maintained in a vertical attitude to the ground. The erected post can be utilized as a fences post, sign post, mail box post, or the like, and can be used for mounting the tube, or the like, that may be intended for receiving delivered items, such as mail and/or newspapers, and the tube includes at least one tab extending from one tube end that is for fitting into a slot that includes at least one hole formed therethrough. The tab hole is for receiving a peg type fastener that is fitted through the hole and blocks withdrawal of the tab from the slot to provide the tube cantilever mounting. The peg type fastener includes an arrangement for inhibiting peg withdrawal from the tab hole, and, in its manufacture, the peg may be weakened to promote shearing thereacross as when a force is applied against the tube as could damage the tube and post, the peg shearing allowing release of the tube tab out of the post slot.

Cantilever mounting system

An adjustable mounting for a post system for use in aligning and maintaining a post attached thereto to a desired vertical attitude to a ground surface. The adjustable mounting includes, as embodiments, a ball segment and seat combination that are movable with respect to one another, and in another embodiment involves a pair of interactive tapered washers, with the embodiments all including arrangements for clamping together the components that is a single bolt type fastener that is for maintaining the components of the adjustable mounting between a ground stake top surface, or ground surface, and a post bottom end or post insert base. The relative positioning of the seat to the ball segment and the tapered washers tapered surfaces to one another is to provide an off-set from a straight line axially through which adjustable mounting, that is transferred directly into a post, or a post insert with a post telescoped thereon, as an angle of that post to the vertical, which post can be used as a fences post, sign post, or the like, and may include an arrangement for mounting a container, such as a box or tube, cantilevered thereto that is intended for receiving delivered items, such as mail and/or newspapers.

Adjustable mounting for a post system

A mail box post mount that is a frame for mounting a mail box onto a top of an upright square or rectangular post having a top surface that includes a pair of parallel brackets that each receive ends of a pair of spaced bars that are mounted at right angles thereto forming a rectangular frame. The parallel brackets each include a web member with parallel flanges that each extend from the bracket edges, to receive the bar ends fitted and mounted therebetween with each bar including hole or holes formed therethrough for passing fastener therethrough and into the post top end. One of which bars is preferably movable along the parallel brackets to provide for adjusting of the spacing distance between which for mounting to different dimensions of pole ends, with the parallel brackets each including a hole or holes formed therethrough for receiving a fastener fitted therein that has passed through a side or a mail box, for mounting the mail box thereto.

A post system having a capability for aligning and maintaining a post thereof to a vertical attitude during installation that consists of a post adjustable mounting which, in one embodiment, is a pair of interactive tapered washers for arrangement as a stack, and in a second embodiment is a ball segment and seat, with both of which embodiments for clamping together utilizing a single bolt fastener for arrangement between a ground stake top surface and a post bottom end or post insert base. The relative positioning of which tapered washers to one another or the positioning of the ball segment in the seat to provide an off-set from a straight line through which post adjustable mounting, allowing the post itself or the post insert to be angled relative to the top of the ground stake. The single bolt coupling is fitted through aligned holes in the ground stake base, post adjustable mounting and post bottom end or post insert base for maintaining the post or post insert positioning, and which post insert is for receiving a post fitted and secured thereover. The erected post can be utilized as a fences post, sign post, or the like, and can be used for mounting a container, such as a box or tube intended for receiving delivered items, such as mail and/or newspapers, and accordingly, the invention further includes a tab, slot and wedge fastener arrangement for cantilever mounting of a tube, or the like, to extend from which post, and includes a frame for mounting a mail box onto the post top or onto the cantilevered tube.
