According to examples, an apparatus may include a first feed element and a second feed element, in which a web is to be fed to the first feed element and from the first feed element to the second feed element. The apparatus may also include a controller that may determine whether the web exiting the second feed element is shifted from an intended position and based on a determination that the web is shifted from the intended position, cause the first feed element to be moved laterally a first distance and the second feed element to be moved laterally a second distance to compensate for the shift in the web exiting the second feed element.

In many continuously webbed machines, media is fed through the machine with rollers mounted to one or more rotating shafts. These shafts may be supported on each end with a cylindrical journal bearing. The rollers move at the same rate as the media to maintain traction with the media to control media position as it moves the media from one process to another through the sequence of processes in the webbed machine.

In one example, a centrifugal fan includes a bearing, a shaft rotatably supported by the bearing, fan blades operatively connected to and rotatable with the shaft to take in air axially and to exhaust air radially, and a groove in the shaft extending axially along an outer surface of the shaft through the bearing.

In example implementations, a printing device is provided. The printing device includes a printer module, a first driver roller, and a second drive roller. The printer module includes a single set of print bars. A first side of the single set of print bars is to print on a first side of a continuous web of print media and a second side of the single set of print bars is to print on a second side of the continuous web of print media. The continuous web of print media travels over a common set of idler rollers. The first driver roller is to control an amount of tension of the continuous web of print media on a first side. The second drive roller is to control an amount of tension of the continuous web of print media on a second side. The amount of tension of the continuous web of print media on the second side is greater than the amount of tension of the continuous web of print media on the first side.

In example implementations, a printing device is provided. The printing device includes a printer module, a plurality of dryer modules, and a side exit unit. The printer module is to print on a continuous web of print media. The plurality of dryer modules is located downstream from the printer module. The continuous web of print media is fed in a wrap-around direction from an outermost dryer module to a center dryer module. The side exit unit is coupled to the center dryer module to redirect the continuous web of print media along an outer side of the plurality of dryer modules.

In some examples, a convective gas bar can include a gas inlet to receive supply gas to a first portion of the convective gas bar, feed holes located in the first portion, a nozzle plate located in a second portion of the convective gas bar, where the nozzle plate includes nozzles, and the nozzles are adapted to receive and direct the supply gas from the feed holes through the nozzles.

In example implementations, a printer module is provided. The printer module includes a co-axial split drive roller, a first motor, a second motor, and a print bar. The co-axial split drive roller includes a first roller and a second roller that are movably coupled at a center of the co-axial split drive roller. The first motor is coupled to the first roller. The second motor is coupled to the second roller. The print bar is coupled to the housing over the co-axial split drive roller.

In an example, an apparatus is described that includes a first print section, a second print section, a dryer, and a printing path. The first print section includes a first fluid ejection array, while the second print section includes a second fluid ejection array. The dryer is positioned adjacent to the first print section and the second print section. The printing path that travels in a first direction through the dryer after exiting the first print section and travels in a second direction through the dryer after exiting the second print section.

In one example, a multi-stage hot air dryer in which each successive stage is configured to take in air discharged from a prior stage and discharge it on to an article moving through the dryer from the last stage to the first stage such that the article is exposed to higher humidity air first in the dryer and to lower humidity air last in the dryer.

A mounting system for an encoder is disclosed. The mounting system prevents rotation about the encoder shaft's axis of rotation. The mounting system allows translation in a plane perpendicular to the encoder shaft's axis of rotation.

In an example, a method for automated camera flat fielding and alignment may include determining a magnification of a camera relative to a first camera axis that is generally parallel to a first print media axis by evaluating first and second magnifications between transitions from a first color to a second color on a setup plot. The method may further include determining, by a processor, a rotation of the camera relative to the first camera axis such that the first magnification is approximately equal to the second magnification.

A fluid-ejection device includes a handheld and/or mountable enclosure, a pneumatic fitting, an electrical connector, and a controller. The pneumatic fitting extends from and/or through the enclosure and is receptive to placement of a tip thereon. The tip contains a supply of fluid, a fluid-ejection mechanism, and an electrical connector for the fluid-ejection mechanism. The electrical connector extends from and/or through the enclosure and is receptive to electrical coupling of the electrical connector of the tip. The controller is situated within the enclosure to cause the tip to eject the fluid via the electrical coupling of the electrical connectors of the tip and the fluid-ejection device.
