An endless crop conveying belt loop has a bolted connection including belt material having a top and bottom surface and first and second opposed ends. Each of the two opposed ends having complementary patterns of half wave shapes. Each pattern has a plurality of longitudinal extensions alternating with transverse straight edges. The longitudinal extensions are interwoven between respective extensions of the complementary pattern on the opposed end so that the longitudinal extensions of both opposed ends overlap the top surface of the opposed end and the transverse straight edges of both opposed ends are generally aligned. A staggered array of fasteners secures the two opposed ends together.

The access plate comprises a curved oblong plate for covering an oblong access opening in a cylindrical auger tube. When the access plate is mounted to the auger tube, the concave inner surface of the access plate adjoins the cylindrical exterior surface of the auger tube. The access plate has a first side that is provided with an inwardly indented offset portion. The offset portion traps the cylindrical auger tube. The access plate has an opposed second side that is provided with a clamping plate that adjoins the inner surface of the access plate. The clamping plate has two clamping plate mounting holes each having a clip nut. The clamping plate mounting holes are aligned with two access plate mounting holes. Mounting bolts extend through the access plate mounting holes and engage the clip nuts on the clamping plate.

A mechanism for attaching a harvesting assembly to a combine having a multicoupler which connects hydraulic lines on the combine with hydraulic lines on the harvesting assembly as two halves of the multicoupler are brought together, and a latching mechanism which mechanically couples the harvesting assembly to the combine, the latching mechanism being operatively connected with the multicoupler to shift between latched and unlatched modes as the multicoupler is shifted between connected and unconnected modes.

Intake fingers and finger assemblies for use with intake portions of harvesting assemblies, on harvesting machines such as combines, haybines, bailers, corn pickers, and the like. The fingers and finger assemblies cooperate with crop-gathering augers, and crankshafts inside the augers, in feeding cut crop material toward discharge portions of such harvesting assemblies. The fingers extend and retract through apertures in the auger cylinder according to an eccentric mounting of the finger crankshaft inside the auger cylinder. A respective finger comprises a reinforced polyester or polyurethane shaft, and a polyurethane sleeve overlying a crop-engaging end portion of the finger, such as along 50% to 80% of the length of the shaft. The shaft is reinforced with fiberglass or other fiber, the composition of the sleeve comprises polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane, and the sleeve has a hardness of about Shore D-45 to about Shore D-70.
