Methods and systems are provided for a fairlead with an illumination module. In one example, a fairlead includes an illumination module seated against a recessed mounting surface. The illumination module is housed within a body of the fairlead and configured to illuminate a main opening of the fairlead.

A charging station configured to charge a plurality of electronic devices, the charging station can include a charging cabinet having a first side, a second side, and a connecting member extending between the first and second sides; a first plurality of holes extending along the first side, the first plurality of holes being configured to receive a screw; a first plurality of slots extending along the second side, the first plurality of slots being configured to receive a tab; at least one shelf having a first end, a second end, and a shelf surface extending between the first and second ends, the first end of the shelf configured to be positioned adjacent the first side of the charging cabinet, the second end of the shelf configured to be positioned adjacent the second side of the charging cabinet, the at least one shelf including: a first tab extending from the second end of the at least one shelf, the first tab configured to be inserted into one of the first plurality of slots extending along the second side; and a shelf flange extending from the first end, wherein a first portion of the shelf flange and a first portion of the shelf surface define a first opening, and wherein the first opening is configured to receive the screw.

Repositionable shelf system for device charging and storage cabinets or carts

A plow pivot assembly includes a base adapted to be coupled to a frame member and rotationally fixed relative thereto. A pivot assembly is coupled to the base and includes a motor mounted to a first ring gear, a planetary gear assembly driven by the motor and including a planetary carrier assembly having a plurality of split planetary gears engaging with both the first ring gear and a second ring gear which is fixed to the base for causing rotation of the first ring. A plow blade is attached to the first ring gear by a pivot base that incorporates a force absorbing system therein to protect the planetary gear assembly from damage.

A system for controlling slack in a winch rope associated with a vehicle can include a winch, a plow, and a support member pivotably coupled to the plow and carrying a pulley that receives the rope for raising and lowering the plow. A limit switch can be operatively associated with the winch and configured to selectively enable and disable lowering of the plow by the winch. A first member can be carried by the support member and operatively associated with the switch. A biasing member can bias the support member to a first position when a load on the winch rope is below a predetermined threshold. The first member can be in at least substantial alignment with the switch when in the first position. The switch can change an activation state upon the first member being in the first position to automatically disable lowering of the plow by the winch.

A power device includes a motor, a drive shaft, and a roller brake system including a cam mechanism. The motor may put out a driving torque in a first and a second rotary direction. The cam mechanism includes first and second cam members. The first cam member may be in a driven engagement with the motor and the second cam member may be slidably engaged with the first cam member and coupled to the drive shaft. The first cam member includes a circumferentially disposed ramped surface having a stop member at a first end thereof. The said second cam member is axially and rotatably fixed with the drive shaft and includes an axially extending protrusion disposed about a circumference thereof and slidably engaged with the ramped surface.

Roller disk brake for a winch

A winch assembly includes a housing member, a drum rotatably coupled to the housing member, a drive shaft extending through the drum and into the housing member, a gear train located within the housing member, and an actuation mechanism. The gear train includes a sun gear driven by the drive shaft, a ring gear, and a planetary gear assembly driven by the sun gear and including a planetary gear rotatably coupled to a carrier plate and engaged with the ring gear. The actuation mechanism includes a locking member displaceable between first and second positions and a biasing member having a radially extending arm engaged with the locking member to provide displacement between the first and second positions. The locking member rotationally fixes the ring gear relative to the housing member in the first position and allows relative rotation between the ring gear and the housing member in the second position.

Winch assembly including clutch mechanism

A brake mechanism having a motor output shaft outputting a driving torque in a power-in and a power-out direction. A camming device operably couples the output shaft to a drive shaft for fixed rotation. A one-way clutch operably couples the drive shaft and a brake device. The brake device is normally in an engaged position that prevents rotation of the clutch device. During a holding maneuver, the one-way clutch, camming device, and brake device cooperate to prevent uncommanded movement. However, the nature of the one-way clutch permits free rotation during a power-in direction and the nature of the camming device permits free rotation during a power-out direction.
