A set of building components includes at least connector components and elongate members. A connector component includes a main body and one or more receptacles. In some embodiments, a connector component may also include male studs and/or female receiving areas configured to couple the connector to other components or conventional building blocks which include the corresponding feature. The elongate members can be secured within the receptacles of the connectors and, in some embodiments, may include slots along a lateral surface to facilitate this connection and provide an additional coupling for further building components. Moreover, in some embodiments, a set of building components may also include sliders configured to be movably coupled around the elongate members. The sliders may also include male studs and/or female receiving areas in some embodiments.

Set of building components

A toy vehicle configured to move across a support surface is disclosed. In some embodiments, the toy vehicle may include a body having a top portion and a bottom portion; a plurality of wheels rotatably mounted to the body and configured to rotatably support the body on the support surface in a plurality of positions including an upright position, and an inverted position, wherein less than all of the plurality of wheels rotatably support the body on the support surface when the body is in the inverted position; and a stabilizing mechanism mounted to the body, the stabilizing mechanism being configured, when the body is in the inverted position, to move a portion of the body away from the support surface such that one or more of the plurality of wheels may be driven to return the body in the upright position.

Toy vehicles

A toy vehicle has first, second and third wheels for movement over a surface. Each of the first, second and third wheels has a respective first, second and third axis of rotation that lies between the remaining two other axes of rotation such that the three axes of rotation are mutually adjoining. Each of the three axes of rotation crosses over the other two axes of rotation such that an angle is formed between each adjoining crossing pair of the axes of rotation where each angle is other than a multiple of 90 degrees. Each wheel is individually powered so that the toy vehicle can translate in any horizontal direction regardless of its facing direction. Two of the wheels can be realigned so their axes of rotation are collinear for conventional movement.

A reconfigurable toy which may be used to selectively simulate a robotic humanoid figure and a rock configuration. The toy has head, arm and leg members which are rotatably coupled to a torso member. Each member has a surface simulating part of a robotic humanoid figure and a rock simulating surface. The toy may be folded into a compact configuration by rotating the members until they are positioned so that only the rock simulating surfaces of the members are visible and a rock configuration is simulated such as a boulder resting on a supporting surface. The toy may then be unfolded or reconfigured to simulate a robotic humanoid figure supported on two leg members.

Reconfigurable toy

A figure toy having an upper torso with an arm member pivotally coupled to the shoulder portion thereof, the arm member being hollow and including therein a rotatable assembly having a bevel gear at the shoulder area and a connector adjacent the wrist portion for connection to one of a plurality of simulated weapons which may be rotated. A rotatable wheel within the torso is gear connected to the rotatable assembly within the arm, rotation of the simulated weapon being effected by manually driving the wheel.

Animated figure toy

A push toy vehicle (10) having a rear section (14) in the shape of a half track vehicle (42) and a front section (12) with the operating jaws (22,24) of a shark or other type monster. The jaws are selectively operable by operating means (33) supported within the vehicle, upon actuation by a child pushing or applying a downward force to the rear section of the housing. The downward force rotates the rear of the housing toward the surface over which it is being moved in the forward direction, whereby the operating means is engaged to slowly open the upper jaw (24) until it reaches a release position whereby it snaps shut, in the manner of a shark or other monster.
