A dry product dispenser uses vibration to move product into a dispensing location. A piston is mounted in the dispenser to be moved by pressure exerted thereon by propellant, and a spring mounted post prevents contact between the propellant and the product until the piston has moved a predetermined distance. Immediately after contact between the propellant and the product, the piston is returned to a repose position in which such propellant-product contact is prevented. The cycle is repeated rapidly as long as an actuating element on the device is activated. Alternative embodiments include child safety features.

A non-aerosol pressure dispenser includes a pressurization chamber having a piston reciprocable therein and a manual actuator extends from outside the chamber into operative association with the piston. The actuator is reciprocable in a first direction to move the piston to compress a spring engaged therewith and to draw material into the chamber. The spring urges the piston in a second direction to pressurize the material in the chamber and a discharge valve or nozzle is connected with the chamber to release the pressurized contents thereof over a desired prolonged period of time and at a sufficient pressure to obtain a fine mist of the material.

A disposable package dispenser comprises a replaceable, collapsible, prefilled package of the product to be dispensed, and includes a product discharge member and attachment structure for releasably attaching the package to a pressurizable dispensing container. The container includes a manually operable expansible chamber to pressurize the interior of the container and thus the collapsible product containing package to collapse the package and effect pressurized discharge of the product when the discharge member is operated.

A perimeter alarm apparatus includes a loop of wire to be placed around an area to be guarded and electrical circuitry connected with the loop for detecting the absence of a signal imposed on the loop. The signal imposed on the loop is produced by a sending unit worn by a child, for example, who is intended to remain within the area bounded by the loop. As long as the child is within the area, the sending unit will induce a signal on the loop, but when the child moves beyond the loop a predetermined distance, no signal is imposed on the loop, with the result that an alarm is sounded by the circuitry.

Perimeter alarm apparatus

An alarm apparatus which is activated upon immersion. The apparatus is adapted to be worn whenever the wearer is expected to be in the proximity of a body of open water and will sound an alarm should that wearer fall into the water. The apparatus is portable, self-contained and has a water activated release to automatically release the apparatus from the wearer upon immersion of the device. The alarm is mounted in a buoyant housing so that housing is self-righting to float to the surface of the water in an upright orientation so the alarm signal is emitted outwardly of the water when the housing reaches the surface. Various embodiments and actuating and release circuits are also disclosed.
