A power supply assembly and method for installing in a retail store environment are described. The power supply assembly is relocatable for providing power and/or data to a particular location within the retail store environment. The power supply assembly can provide power and/or data from a power source above a dropped ceiling to a powered fixture without the ceiling panel being set askew, in a manner that may be more aesthetically pleasing and that can satisfy building code requirements. The power supply assembly can be movable to various locations in the retail store environment and does not require installation of a structure such as, but not limited to, a power pole or other beam-like structure in which power cords may be contained.

Drop cord power and/or data supply assembly

A method and apparatus for establishing a personalized connection with a network from a variety of different terminals and/or ports connected with the network. Subscribers to the network can be provided with a unique subscriber ID that may be used by the network to identify the subscriber. Furthermore, based on the subscriber ID, the network or a network customizing device can access a subscriber profile in order to personalize a connection with the subscriber. Additionally, the subscriber profile can be used by the network service provider for billing purposes.

Method and apparatus for establishing a personalized connection with a network

A system, apparatus and method automatically update address information of a user's outgoing and incoming messages to/from a communication network thereby relieving the user of the burden of manually entering address changes into a user address book. A plurality of users are coupled through terminals to a server in the communication network for exchanging telephone, CATV, Internet, intranet for messaging, facsimile, etc purposes. The server includes a message store; stored message profile; and is coupled to a change server linked to a network. The change server includes search rules and change options provided by the users in directing the change server in finding correct and alternative address information when erroneous or unknown information is detected in the outgoing and incoming messages. Each user address book includes a series of contacts for each user. Each contact is identified by an identification number, ID, including a name and address. The server detects message headers where a &ldquo;Send To Address&rdquo; is not in the address book. The change server is activated and accesses external databases for correct or alternative addresses in accordance with search rules provided by the user. The alternative or correct address books address information is installed in the users address book and the &ldquo;Send To Message&rdquo; process is executed. For returned messages incorporating erroneous information, the search server is again activated to access the databases for correct address information, after which the user's address book is updated thereby eliminating the time-consuming, irritating manual process of updating the user address book for outgoing and incoming messages.

System, apparatus and method for automatic address updating of outgoing and incoming user messages in a communications network

A dishwasher lock includes a first component adapted to be secured to the underside of a counter top directly above the forward upper edge of a dishwasher and a second component slidably and detachably secured to the first component. The second component includes an L-shaped plate adapted to be disposed in overlying engagement with the front of a dishwasher to prevent opening of the dishwasher door when the second component is secured to the first component.

Dishwasher lock

A sofa system includes a unitary perimetric baseframe including a front panel, a rear panel and opposing side panels. The system also includes a hollow back portion having front and rear edges and an integral internal rigid frame, the back portion rotationally mounted between the side panels and to the rear panel by rear longitudinal hinge elements secured between said rear edge of a top portion and the rear panel. The system also includes a unitary seat portion having a front and rear edge and a rigid base, in which the seat portion is rotationally mounted between the side panels and to the front panel by a front longitudinal hinge element that is secured between the front edge of the rigid base of the seat portion and the front panel. Arms may, if desired, be rotationally mounted to the sides of the baseframe.

Furniture system

A convertible sofa bed system includes a sofa seat with a convertible sofa bed in which the seat is rotationally connected to the top of a front panel of the sofa. Prior to unfolding of the bed portion of the sofa bed system, the sofa seat may be rotated forwardly in the direction of the user so that, after the bed portion is unfolded, the sofa seat will be situated beneath the unfolded bed portion in an unobstructive position which will not interfere with normal use of the unfolded sofa bed. After the sofa bed has been used and folded back into the structure of the sofa, the sofa seat may be readily rotated upwardly and in the direction of the back of the sofa bed and into its normal position within the seat of the sofa structure.

Convertible sofa bed system

A blanket hold down device is formed from two plies of fabric stitched together about their edges with an open portion secured together by detachable closure elements to facilitate the insertion and removal of weighting material. A strap is provided on one surface of the hold down device for engaging and holding a corner of a blanket or the like and a security pocket is secured to the opposite surface of the hold down device. An apertured tab is also secured to an edge of the hold down device for the reception of a hold down stake.

Blanket hold down device

A fabric covering system for use with a hinge element of a convertible sofa bed a system includes a sofa base and sofa cushions having rigid bottom rotatably connected by hinge means to the top of a vertical front panel of a sofa. The fabric of the cushions is positioned beneath a resilient longitudinal strip which is situated between the lower face of the hinge and the top of the vertical front panel. The fabric of the cushions extends past the axial of the hinge and between the top of the vertical front panel and the bottom of the resilient strip.

System of fabric covering

A modular sofa system provided with a perimetric horizontal frame having horizontally projecting lip elements. The frame is provided with brackets at opposite transverse ends thereof which are secured integrally with the lip elements. Further provided are front and rear horizontal beams which are complementally secured at opposite ends thereof by the brackets and associated lip elements. A hollow removable back module is provided which includes, at opposite transverse ends thereof, back module templets which are proportioned for complemental receipt within the bracket means of the frame. Further provided is a removable seat module which is positioned upon said horizontal beams. The back and seat modules may be easily removed and interchanged with other respective back and seat modules. Also, by virture of removeability of the back module from the system, the area at which the fabric covering the back module is secured, may be easily accessed for purposes of removal of such fabric. A substantial savings in the quantity of fabric and the labor associated with the securement of such fabric to the sofa system is achieved.

Modular furniture system

The insect pickup device is comprised of a plurality of detachable components including a first elongated head having a triangular cross-sectional configuration, a second elongated head having a rectangular cross-sectional configuration, an elongated handle structure having the first and second heads detachably secured at opposite ends thereof. The handle structure includes a plurality of tubular members and a dowel for interconnecting the tubular members to provide an elongated handle structure.
