A locking, reversible blade, screwdriver is provided. The screwdriver incorporates a reversible blade; one end is a flat blade for latches or any application that requires a durable flat blade screwdriver, the opposing end is a drive bit holder which could be a magnetic bit holder, C clip bit holder, ball type bit holder etc., or any combination which will accept a variety of drive bit types. The blade can be inserted into the handle with the desired end exposed, where it is secured in place with a ball lock. One hand digital intervention releases the blade. A threaded removable end cap at the opposite end of the handle exposes a selector. This selector, when rotated allows access to one of several tubes holding drive bits for the bit holder end of the blade. The end cap has a wide comfortable flat base with a perimeter recess which acts as a finger grip and the flat base allows the screwdriver to sit on its end for one handed fastener loading on a drive bit.

A tool holder has a housing with magnets mounted therein with a slot therebetween and movable pegs therein cooperating to hold a series of sockets, or a series of screw drivers or bits therefor, or a series of wrenches, or other tools, or combinations thereof, mounted at a desired position on the tool holder.

Magnetic tool holder

A tool holder has a housing with magnets mounted in a pair of dove-tailed grooves with a slot therebetween and movable pegs therein cooperating to hold a series of sockets, or a series of screw drivers or bits therefor, or a series of wrenches, or other tools, or combinations thereof, mounted at a desired position on the tool holder.

A magnetic socket track is provided which includes a non-ferrous base with concave grips the length of the outer sides. Two sections of ferrous metal with ninety (90) degree bends lie inside the channel with the protrusion of the ninety (90) degree bends facing each other. Set between the ferrous metal strips lies a length of conventional magnetic material with the north pole facing one metal strip and the south pole facing the other, yet set far enough from the ninety (90) degree bends to provide a channel. Due to the relationship of the magnetic material and the ferrous metal, a strong magnetic field is formed at the ninety (90) degree bends and right angle material. Into this channel slide the square or hexagonal heads of the threaded non-ferrous studs, with the heads of the studs large enough to prevent the studs from rotating in the channel. Numerous studs are positioned in the channel with various sizes of non-ferrous, round, internally-threaded receptacles tightened down on the studs. The receptacles receive sockets with corresponding drive sizes. The sockets are placed over the receptacles and are held in place by magnetic energy. The round receptacles keep the sockets from being jarred off the track and also holds their precise location for return to the magnetic track after use.

Magnetic socket track

A reversible wire twisting plier tool is provided, which includes a pair of plier arms each having a jaw portion and a handle portion and which are pivotally interconnected and movable between an open position and a closed position. Plier rotating means are mounted on one of the handles. The rotating means includes a sleeve and a double spiral shank having a left hand groove and a right hand groove, axially slidably mounted within the sleeve. First and second gears are disposed within the sleeve, one gear being slidably engaged in one of said grooves and the other being slidably engaged in the other groove. A gear actuator is provided which is movable between a first actuated position wherein the actuator engages the first gear and a second actuated position wherein the actuator engages the second gear to selectively impart a clockwise or counterclockwise motion to the shaft depending upon which gear means is engaged. A slider is mounted on the sleeve and connected to the gear actuator. The slider is axially movable between first and second slider positions corresponding to the first and second actuated positions of the gear actuator. Means are also provided to releasably latch the pliers in the closed position and automatically release the pliers from the closed position upon squeezing thereof. Also preferably visible indicia are provided to display the relative rotational direction selected.
