Substituted N-aroyl N'-phenyl urea compounds

Novel N-aroyl N'-phenyl ureas having halogen substituents in the 3- and 5-positions and haloalkyl, haloalkoxy or haloalkylthio in the 4-position of the N'-phenyl are more active and have a broader spectrum of effectiveness than the known benzoylurea insecticides.

Method of protecting plants from both fungal organisms and mites in the same treatment in which there is applied to the plant an amount of one or more of selected tricyclopentyl tin and tris(cyclopentylmethyl)tin compounds, which amount is sufficient to provide both antifungal and miticidal protection but is less than a substantially harmful phytotoxic amount.
