An extraoral suction device for managing aerosol emissions during dental procedures includes: a conduit; an adapter in fluid communication with the conduit; and a mount for mounting the extraoral suction device to a dental chair. The adapter is configured to be placed in fluid communication with a vacuum source to provide suction to the extraoral suction device. The conduit can be selectively manipulated to assume and maintain a position without support from an individual or designated support structure. A dental professional can thus manipulate the conduit to maintain a position in front of the oral cavity of a patient seated in the dental chair to direct aerosols emitted from the oral cavity of the patient into the extraoral suction device instead of the surrounding environment. The extraoral suction device can thus be combined with a dental chair and vacuum source to provide an improved dental chair system for dental procedures.

A control module suitable for controlling a manual switch type automatic drip coffeemaker (ADC) enabling the addition of fully automatic brewing start, programmable brewing strengths, programmable heater levels for keeping the coffee warm after the brewing cycle is complete, programmable shut-off time periods, automatic cleaning detector, automatic self cleaning cycle with automatic shut-off, and programmable twelve hour AM/PM or twenty-four hour time format. The control module contains a micro-controller, application specific firmware, a keypad, a liquid crystal display, a control relay, a current or a voltage sensor, indicator LED's, a piezo audible alarm, and power supply components.

An apparatus for punching and binding a stack of papers is disclosed. The apparatus includes a paper clamp and a binding element insertion device that are movable relative to each other. The binding element insertion device is configured to receive and detect binding elements of different sizes. The apparatus also includes a punching mechanism, a controller, and a user interface. The controller controls movement of the paper clamp and the binding element insertion device based on the size of the binding element needed to bind the stack of papers together. The user interface is configured to provide information to a user of the apparatus and to receive input from the user before, during, and after the punching and binding operation.

A removable cartridge assembly for a master processing apparatus includes a cartridge body and a pair of feed roll assemblies. Each feed roll assembly includes a stock material wound about a core and mounting members on the ends of the core. Feed roll mounting structures removably secure the feed roll assemblies on the cartridge body so that, for example, a feed roll assembly from which the supply of stock material has been exhausted can be removed and replaced.

A substrate processing apparatus includes a frame, first and second supply rolls and a substrate processing assembly including a resiliently deformable structure configured to apply pressure to the first and second supply rolls to perform a substrate processing operation. A method for processing a substrate includes providing first and second supply rolls rotatably mounted to the substrate processing apparatus, wherein at least one of the first and second supply rolls has pressure-sensitive adhesive provided thereon. The selected substrate is enabled to be fed in a substrate receiving opening with the first and the second substrates positioned on opposing sides thereof. The first and second substrates are advanced through the substrate receiving opening. A resiliently deformable structure deforms to apply pressure to the selected substrate and the first and second substrates as they are advanced through the substrate receiving opening, thereby bonding the adhesive to the selected substrate.

A master processing apparatus for use with a pair of removable feed rolls carrying a supply of stock material includes a frame and a master processing assembly operable to cause adhesive bonding between the stock materials and a master. The apparatus includes a cutting assembly and a movable feed tray. A master engaging structure engages the master as it is being processed.

A master processing system includes a frame and a cartridge assembly having a cartridge body and first and second feed rolls rotatably mounted to the cartridge body. The first and second feed rolls carry first and second stock materials with at least one of the stock materials having a layer of adhesive disposed thereon. The cartridge body is removably mounted to the frame. A master processing assembly is constructed and arranged such that a master can be inserted into the processing assembly together with the stock materials unwound from their feed rolls and disposed on opposing sides of the master. The processing assembly performs a master processing operation, wherein the processing assembly causes adhesive bonding between the master and the stock materials being fed therein. An ejector mechanism is constructed and arranged to eject the cartridge assembly in an outward direction with respect to the frame.
