A device for irrigating cerumen from one's ear canal, which includes a universal adaptor affixed to the spout of a lavatory faucet (one which allows the cold and hot to be mixed); a flow line extending from the adaptor; a valve on the adaptor, which when opened allows for adjusting the temperature and force of flow by feeling the flow at a nozzle on the second end of the flow line; a cup for placement over the ear to contain the water flow; a double loop within the cup to mount a first loop to a tragus portion of the outer ears for directing fluid flow from the nozzle into the ear canals, a second loop engaged around a probe to limit the depth the nozzle is able to enter the ear canal; and a return line for returning water and debris collected from the ear canal into the lavatory.

Device for irrigating the ear canal

A mixer assembly is disclosed having a container with a closed sidewall, a closed bottom and a rim which forms an open top. The container is adapted to contain a product, such as roofing sealant, plaster or the like, to be mixed. A cover overlies the open top while a clamp detachably secures the cover to the container rim. A tubular conduit is attached to the cover so that the opposite ends of the conduit are open to the opposite sides of the cover. A stirrer assembly having a driven shaft and an agitator secured to one end of the shaft is then positioned within the container so that the agitator is solely contained within the container while the shaft extends exteriorly through the conduit and above the cover. A rotary drive, such as a drill, is then secured to the upper end of the shaft to rotatably drive the agitator and mix the product within the container.

Mixer assembly

An apparatus for evacuating air from the body cavity of the patient during a collapsed lung condition which includes, an air delivery tube portion which is inserted through the skin and into the wall of the body cavity, the air delivery tube portion of the apparatus include a body portion, a first upper threaded end, and a bore extending through the body portion to accommodate air flow through the air delivery tube; there is also provided a trocar member, including a body portion insertable through the bore of the air delivery tube, with a pointed end partially protruding out of the second lower end of the tube for piercing the body cavity wall during insertion of a portion of the air delivery tube into the body cavity; an extender portion engageable to the first upper end of the air conveying tube after the tube has been inserted into the body cavity and the trocar member has been removed from the air delivery tube, for providing a point of delivering air flow through the air delivery tube from the body cavity of the patient; a valving member on the upper end of the extender portion for allowing one-way flow of air out of the body cavity and for preventing air returning into the body cavity as the patient inhales; a flexible, rubber-like tube insertable through the bore in the body portion in the air delivery tube, one end of the tube insertable into the body cavity, so that the air delivery tube may be removed from the body cavity and the flexible rubber-like tube allow air flow through the tube; a valving member on the outer end of the tube for allowing air flow out of the body cavity but for preventing air flow into the body cavity as the patient inhales.

Emergency apparatus for evacuating air from the body cavity

An apparatus for performing emergency tracheostomies, by inserting the apparatus into the trachea of a patient, the apparatus including an air delivery tube, having a body portion, a first upper threaded end, a second lower end, and a bore extending throughout the body portion to accommodate air flow through the air delivery tube; a trocar member including a body portion insertable through the bore of the air delivery tube, with a pointed end partially protruding out of the second lower end of the tube for piercing the tracheal wall during insertion of a portion of the air delivery tube into the trachea; an extendor portion engageable to the first upper end of the air delivery tube after the tube has been inserted into the trachea, and the trocar member has been removed from the air delivery tube, for providing a point of delivering air flow through the air delivery tube into the trachea of a patient above the tracheal wall; the air delivery tube and trocar insertable in the extendor member and sealed therein when not in use.
