Access to a vehicle is controlled based on the presence or amount of one or more analytes in a potential driver. The one or more analytes are detected using a non-invasive analyte sensor. The non-invasive analyte sensor may be included in a steering wheel of the vehicle, a touch point in the vehicle, or a mobile device of the potential driver. The one or more analytes are indicative of an identity and/or a status of the potential driver. The status of the potential driver may include the presence of amounts above a threshold for one or more intoxicants and/or indicators of tiredness or sickness. The access is based on the identity and/or status of the potential driver as indicated by the presence or amount of the one or more analytes.

Vehicle interface systems and methods for analyte-based access control

One or more analytes are detected non-invasively, and an access level is determined based on the one or more analytes. The one or more analytes indicate at least one of an identity and/or a current status of an individual seeking access, and the access level is based on the identity and/or status of the individual. Access to a location, a device, one or more device functionalities, a vehicle, one or more vehicle functionalities, and the like can be granted based on the access level.

Systems and methods for analyte-based access controls

A non-invasive analyte sensor device that includes a sensor housing, and a decoupled antenna/detector array having at least one transmit antenna/element and at least one receive antenna/element. The sensor housing has a maximum length dimension no greater than 50 mm, a maximum width dimension no greater than 50 mm, a maximum thickness dimension no greater than 25 mm, and a total interior volume of no greater than about 62.5 cm3. In addition, the at least one transmit antenna/element and the at least one receive antenna/element have a maximum spacing therebetween that does not exceed 50 mm and a minimum spacing therebetween that is at least 1.0 mm, and the at least one transmit antenna/element and the at least one receive antenna/element are less than 95% coupled to one another, or less than 90% coupled to one another, or less than 85% coupled to one another, or less than 75% coupled to one another.

Non-invasive analyte sensor device

Establishing an analyte database using analyte data that has been obtained using one or more non-invasive analyte sensors, and using the analyte database to analyze data obtained using a non-invasive analyte sensor. Once the analyte database is established, the analyte database can be updated with new analyte data, and the analyte database can be used to analyze the new analyte data to derive information from the new analyte data. For example, in the case of a human target, the new analyte data together with the analyte database can be used to predict an actual or possible abnormal medical pathology of the human target.
