A power chair carrier system includes a power chair having an elevating motor mounted thereon for raising or lowering the seat of the power chair and for raising or lowering the power chair drive assembly including wheels when the chair is mounted on a vehicle. A hitch assembly is removably connected to a vehicle and includes a docking structure for removably connecting to an upper portion of the power chair to permit the drive assembly and wheels of the power chair to be raised while the chair is in a docking position.

Power chair carrier system

An apparatus for deterring removal of electrical wiring that is installed in a building includes a controller, and a wiring module responsive to the controller and forming a monitored circuit with installed electrical wiring by coupling to an end of the wiring located at a load distribution junction. The other end of the wiring is electrically coupled, and can be coupled with a controlled impedance, or with a protected asset. The apparatus is configured with control logic to issue an alert if the integrity of the monitored circuit has been compromised.

Injection loading of highly filled explosive suspensions

A system for separating a multi phase mixture into a first liquid phase component, a second liquid phase component and a solid phase component includes a three phase centrifuge and a control system for the centrifuge. The control system includes a fuzzy soft sensor programmed with fuzzy logic rules and a feed forward controller in signal communication with the fuzzy soft sensor. The feed forward controller is configured to adjust a feed rate and a feed temperature of the mixture based on the rules, the cold feed temperature, the percent change of water in the mixture, and the percent change of solids in the mixture. The system also includes a feedback controller configured to adjust the feed rate and the feed temperature of the mixture based on the rules, and the basic water and solid (BS&W) content of the first liquid phase component.

System and process for separating multi phase mixtures using three phase centrifuge and fuzzy logic

A display device that includes video chips. Each video chip is modular and is engageable with adjacent video chips, a plurality of pins that electrically communicate with the set of pins of adjacent video chips, and pixels that electrically communicate with the plurality of pins thereof. Each pixel is engageable with adjacent pixels, a red LED for selective illumination, a green LED for selective illumination, and a blue LED for selective illumination. The video chips are placed in an array of columns and rows which are activated by vertical scanning and horizontal scanning. The rows are supplied with a positive voltage to prevent conduction. The vertical scanning activates each row by reducing back voltage to zero. The horizontal scanning activates each column at three different levels for activating at least one of the red LED, the green LED, and the blue LED.

Display device for providing graphical display having a variable number of vertical and horizontal lines of resolution

A ramp stowable beneath the floor of a vehicle is normally power driven between retracted and extended positions. The drive, or propelling, mechanism for the ramp provides for the ramp to be manually disconnected from the propelling mechanism for manual extension and retraction in the event of a power failure in the system.

Vehicle passenger boarding system

A method and apparatus for providing a self-compressing supersonic flow is provided by use of a contoured supersonic nozzle design. The shape of the supersonic nozzle array can be composed of curved blades which provide a focusing effect for a supersonic flow which will provide a gradient change in mach number along the supersonic flow path and efficient pressure recovery. Ideal design permits the self-compressing flow to have a secondary throat with down stream mach number of approximately one. As a result, a gas dynamic laser will have a well defined lasing region shortly after the increase in velocity of the working fluid to supersonic speeds. Controlled shaping of the supersonic flow is provided by means which will either use high speed jets or the Coanda effect. Further refining of the shape of the flow can permit the lasing region to take on the shape of a torus. This principle can be applied to devices other than gas lasers which require internal supersonic flow, such as wind tunnels, MHD machines, or certain propulsion devices.

Self compressing supersonic flow device

A garment providing an emergency source of breathing gas is disclosed which utilizes small diameter tubing to form a reservoir for storage of high-pressure gas. A mask and pressure regulator attached to the reservoir enable a user to tap the stored gas. The tubing reservoir may be incorporated in the fabric of the garment, or retained between layers of the garment. A lightweight shielding layer protects the user against injury caused by accidental rupture of the high-pressure reservoir.
