Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a lumber handling and cutting apparatus, including an incoming material conveyor assembly, a material infeed assembly adjacent to the incoming material conveyor assembly, a cutting assembly adjacent to the material infeed assembly, a material outfeed assembly adjacent to the cutting assembly, an outgoing material conveyor assembly adjacent to the cutting assembly, and a printer assembly adjacent to the incoming material conveyor assembly and the material infeed assembly.

Lumber handling and cutting apparatus

An automated magazine feeder device is provided for supplying a manufacturing operation with elongate members of varying sizes in an assembly order dictated sequence. An apparatus for dispensing elongate members may include a magazine and a rotatable support member. The magazine may contain a plurality of elongate members including an elongate member in a first location and an elongate member in a second location immediately adjacent the elongate member in the first location. The first rotatable support member may include a first arm and a second arm. The first arm of the first rotatable support member supports the elongate member in the first location when the first rotatable support member is in a first position. The elongate member in the first location is ejected from the magazine by the second arm of the first rotatable support member in response to the first rotatable support member being rotated from the first position to a second position. The second arm of the first rotatable support member supports the elongate member in the second location in response to the first rotatable support member being rotated to the second position.

Automated magazine feeder

A jig positioning system for use on a truss assembly table. The puck assemblyhas a puckpositioned at least partially above the table topwith the puckconnected to a carriagepositioned at least partially below the table top. The puck assemblymoves along slotsin the table top. A threaded rodextends through a threaded passagewayin the carriage, so, when the threaded rod rotates, the puck assembly moves along a corresponding slot in the table. A rod support memberextends along the length of the threaded rodand is positioned below the threaded rod, the support membercontacting the carriage and, thereby, preventing the threaded rod from excessive sagging. A debris path is provided along both sides of the support member
