A liquid metal bearing includes at least one first bearing part and at least one second bearing part that have a non-positive fit connection to one another. At least one first ductile sealing layer is disposed at least partly between at least a first bearing part of the at least one bearing and a second bearing part of the at least one second bearing part.

Liquid metal bearing

An x-ray tube includes a vacuum housing. A cathode and an anode are disposed in the vacuum housing and insulated by at least one insulation element. Upon application of a high voltage, the cathode emits electrons that strike the anode as an electron beam. A voltage arrester device with an insulation path has a field strength that is higher than a field strength at the insulation element. If a voltage flashover occurs, the voltage is discharged via the voltage arrester device.

X-ray tube

A single-pole x-ray emitter includes an emitter housing, in which an x-ray tube with a vacuum housing and a drive motor are arranged. A cathode that generates an electron beam, and a rotating anode that is struck by the electron beam along a focal path are arranged in the vacuum housing. The vacuum housing includes a drive-side housing wall and an anode-side housing wall, and the rotating anode is held in a torsionally rigid manner on an anode tube that is rotatably mounted on a stationary part of a rotor shaft that is coupled to the drive motor. The stationary part of the rotor shaft is joined to the anode-side housing wall of the vacuum housing via a ring-shaped fixing. The anode tube incorporates a temperature compensation element. The focal path is arranged on a side of the rotating anode that faces away from the anode-side housing wall.

Single-pole x-ray emitter

An x-ray radiator has an anode that emits x-rays, a cathode that thermionically emits electrons upon irradiation thereof by a laser beam, a voltage source for application of a high voltage between the anode and the cathode for acceleration of the emitted electrons toward the anode to form an electron beam, a vacuum housing, an insulator that is part of the vacuum housing and that separates the cathode from the anode, an arrangement for cooling components of the x-ray radiator, a deflection and arrangement that deflects the laser beam from a stationary source, that is arranged outside of the vacuum housing, to a spatially stationary laser focal spot on the cathode.

A rotating envelope radiator has a radiator housing surrounded by an external housing to form an intervening space in which a coolant flows. To prevent the formation, at high rotational frequencies, of reverse flows of the coolant in the intervening space, a flow conductor structure is provided in the intervening space that counteracts the formation of tangential flow components in the coolant.

An x-ray radiator with an anode accommodated in a housing such that it can rotate around an axis has a device for determination of the position of an x-ray-emitting focal spot on the anode. To increase the measurement precision, the device includes a collimator aligned on the focal spot.
