A method and apparatus for moving an object. A verbal instruction for moving the object is received. The verbal instruction is converted into text. A logical representation of the verbal instruction is generated. A movement of a robotic system that corresponds to the verbal instruction for moving the object using a model of an environment in which the object and the robotic system are located is identified. A set of commands used by the robotic system for the movement of the robotic system is identified. The set of commands is sent to the robotic system.

A method and apparatus comprising an instruction analyzer. The instruction analyzer is configured to receive a movement instruction for an aircraft during movement of the aircraft. The instruction analyzer is further configured to generate a number of volumes of airspace defining a desired movement of the aircraft using the movement instruction during the movement of the aircraft.

Instruction visualization system

Systems and methods for development testing of vehicles and components are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system includes a position reference system and a command and control architecture. The position reference system is configured to repetitively measure one or more position and motion characteristics of one or more vehicles operating within a control volume. The command and control architecture is configured to receive the repetitively measured characteristics from the position reference system, and to determine corresponding control signals based thereon. The control signals are then transmitted to the one or more vehicles to control at least one of position, movement, and stabilization of the one or more vehicles in a closed-loop feedback manner. The system may further include a health monitoring component configured to monitor health conditions of the one or more vehicles, the control signals being determined at least in part on the health conditions.

Autonomous vehicle rapid development testbed systems and methods

A computer algorithm that is able to convert a parent CGM file, which may include a plurality of disparate methods of defining objects or high-level primitives, with low-level primitives to produce a child or normalized CGM file that includes a normalized or standard way of defining these same objects. The computer algorithm iterates over the information stored in the parent CGM file to find associations in stored vectors to determine whether disparate elements, such as segments or arcs, are used to define more complex objects. It then normalizes the data into the more complex objects to produce a normalized CGM file. Therefore, the child CGM file includes standardized high-level primitives and less overall data complexity.
