A microgrid system includes an electrical bus including at least one electrical load; at least one non-energy storage system asset configured to supply electrical power to the electrical bus; an energy storage system group including: two or more energy storage system assets configured to supply electrical power to the electrical bus, and a system controller operatively coupled to each of the assets on the electrical bus. The system controller is configured to: determine characteristic energy set points and power limits for each of the assets; determine that at least two or more assets have a same priority for power distribution; determine the characteristic power set points for the non-energy storage assets, dispatch the energy storage system assets having the same priority by treating a dispatch for the energy storage system assets as a combined asset.

Systems and methods for multiple energy storage system dispatch

The present disclosure discloses methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for off-grid load stabilization. For instance, the method may include: receiving generator data from at least one generator and energy storage data from at least one energy store; determining, based on the generator data and/or the energy storage data, a moving average of a system load of the at least one generator; and determining, based on the generator data and/or the energy storage data, an instantaneous load value of the at least one generator. The method may further include: determining a first electronic storage dispatch (ESD) based on the moving average of the system load and the instantaneous load value of the at least one generator; and providing the first ESD to the at least one energy store.

The engine controller may identify a plurality of engines configured to provide power to a load, wherein the plurality of engines have a first set of priorities associated with providing the power to the load; receive a plurality of parameters from a plurality of monitoring devices monitoring the plurality of engines; calculate a plurality of metrics corresponding to the plurality of engines based on the plurality of parameters; determine, based on the plurality of metrics, that a switching condition is satisfied to switch from the first set of priorities to a second set of priorities for the plurality of engines; determine the second set of priorities for the plurality of engines based on the plurality of metrics; and cause the plurality of engines to provide respective amounts of power to the load based on the second set of priorities.

Control of multiple engines using one or more parameters associated with the multiple engines

A method for controlling a genset system is provided. The method includes recognizing a communication failure between one or more gensets of a plurality of gensets and a control system and determining an operating state of each of the one or more gensets prior to the communication failure. The method further includes operating the genset system, upon communication failure, according to a load control scheme. The load control scheme includes determining an available power of the genset system based on the determined operating state of each of the one or more gensets and coupling one or more loads to the genset system based on the available power.
