An interactive water container apparatus is disclosed and configured for encouraging an animal to drink therefrom. In at least one embodiment, an outer container is sized and configured for holding a volume of fluid, the outer container providing an at least one opening sized and configured for allowing the animal to access and drink the fluid therewithin. At least one inner container is positioned substantially within the outer container. At least one interactive object is positioned within the outer container such that the at least one inner container is positioned between the interactive object and the opening of the outer container, thereby allowing the animal to see said interactive object while being unable to physically contact said interactive object. A pump is configured for circulating the fluid within at least one of the outer container and the at least one inner container. Through circulating the fluid, the pump further causes the at least one interactive object to move through the fluid, which entices the animal into interacting with, and ultimately into drinking, the fluid.

A puzzle game system is provided comprising a plurality of puzzle pieces that include one part of a problem-solution pair for assisting the user in determining the proper placement of pieces within the puzzle, the system further including means for detecting when adjoining pieces are in proper placement, or where the entire puzzle is completed properly. The puzzle system may be a three-dimensional puzzle that interfaces with a base, or may be self-standing without a base.

A puzzle is described that enhances the educational and enjoyment aspect of assembling the puzzle by providing a plurality of problem-solution pairs that serve to direct and/or confirm that puzzle pieces are positioned correctly. One half of the problem-solution pairs may be placed on the back of individual puzzle pieces with the other half on intended adjacent pieces or other they may be placed on a base board with the complementary half on the back of the pieces intended to be placed above the corresponding problem-solution pair. The puzzle is so designed that it may be configured as a 2-dimensional puzzle or a 3-dimensional puzzle and may be provided in electronic form if so desired.

A two-way pocket assembly for use with a notebook (). The pocket assembly is constructed over a window () formed in a subsurface material of the notebook (). The pocket assembly includes exterior and interior pockets (), each covering at least a portion of the window (). The exterior and interior pockets () provide access to the pocket assembly from either the exterior () or interior () of the notebook (). The pocket may be configured to receive and hold a personal electronic assistant, a cellular telephone (), or another personal electronic device. The interior pocket includes a window material that allows visual access to the interior () of the pocket assembly through the material of the interior pocket (). The pocket may be constructed so that a personal electronic assistant held inside the pocket assembly is usable through the window without removing the device from the pocket assembly.

A perpetual monthly calendar includes a front panel with a month grid of cells capable of displaying an accurate number and configuration of cells for any month. This embodiment also includes an at least semi-transparent sheet in front of the front panel with a write-on/wipe-off surface. Another embodiment includes a front panel, a first surface with a first number matrix, and a second surface with a second number matrix. The front panel displays a grid of cells with columns representing weekdays and rows representing the upper rows of a calendar and at least one lower row of a calendar. A window is cut out of the front panel in each cell, so that when the first surface or second surface is moved horizontally, the front panel displays an accurate number and configuration of days for any month.
