A height adjustment mechanism for a chair with a housing and an adjustment lever. The housing is fixed to the base of the chair and is slidably coupled to a post supporting the chair seat. The height of the seat above the base of the chair is dependent on a position of the post with respect to the housing. The adjustment lever is positioned within the housing and has two plates joined by a spring configured to bias the two plates in opposite directions. A free end of the adjustment lever is movable between a locked position and an active position. When in the locked position, the height of the seat is fixed. When in the active position, the height of the seat is adjustable.

A body motion platform with a base, a plurality of mechanical linkages coupled to the base, and a left footplate and a right footplate each linked to the base through the plurality of mechanical linkages. The plurality of mechanical linkages includes a vertical linkage and a horizontal linkage and is configured to maintain the left footplate and the right footplate in a horizontal orientation while moving each through a horizontal motion and a vertical motion. The vertical linkage is configured to control the vertical motion of the footplates and the horizontal linkage is configured to control the horizontal motion of the footplates. The horizontal motion and the vertical motion of each footplate are independent of each other. The horizontal motion and the vertical motion of the left footplate is reciprocally linked to the horizontal motion and the vertical motion of the right footplate, respectively.

An adjustable desk with a desk platform, at least two legs, and a locking mechanism. The legs support the desk platform and make the height of the desk platform adjustable. Each leg has a base, a support coupled to the desk platform, and linkages joining the base to the support. Each linkage has a first link, a second link pivotally coupled to the first link at a first joint, and a third link pivotally coupled to the second link at a second joint. The first link and the third link are pivotally coupled to the base and the second link is pivotally coupled to the support at the top pivot. The first joint is positioned between the top pivot and the second joint and a distance between the first joint and the top pivot may be larger than the distance between the first joint and the second joint.

A massage tool can include an axle including a root outer diameter, a center stop protrusion, end stop protrusions located at opposing ends of the axle, and at least one set of positioning protrusions located between the center stop protrusion and at least one of the end stop protrusions. An inner positioning protrusion of the at least one set of positioning protrusions is located axially closer to the center stop protrusion than an outer positioning protrusion of the at least one set of positioning protrusions. The outer and inner positioning protrusions each protrude from the root outer diameter of the axle a distance that is less than a distance that the center stop protrusion and the end stop protrusions protrude from the root outer diameter of the axle. Two massage elements each contain a center bore having a bore diameter substantially equal to the root outer diameter of the axle. A length of the center bore of each massage ball is substantially equal to an axial distance between the center stop protrusion and the outer positioning protrusion, and substantially equal to an axial distance between the inner positioning protrusion and a nearest one of the end stop protrusions.

A connecting member may comprise a first end coupled to the lower helical spring, a second end opposite the first end, and a central axis that extends between the first end and the second end. An upper helical spring may be coupled to the second end of the connecting member. A rotational joint may be coupled to the upper helical spring. A seat may be coupled to the rotational joint and configured to rotate about the central axis of the connecting member. The base, lower helical spring, upper helical spring, rotational joint, and seat may share a common vertical axis with the central axis of the connecting member when at rest.

A massage roller may include a hollow cylindrical body with a cylindrical core and a plurality of massage protrusions each extending outwardly from the cylindrical body. Each massage protrusion may be substantially centered within a different polygonal region of a polygonal tessellation of the surface of the cylindrical body. The massage protrusions each may have a base, a filleted peripheral edge extending around the base, a concave cap opposite the base, and a plurality of walls equal in number to the edges of the polygonal region in which the protrusion is substantially centered. Each massage protrusion may also include an axial cross-section which is substantially polygonal, and has the same number of edges as and is substantially aligned with the polygonal region in which the protrusion is substantially centered.

A roller which an individual may use to perform a variety of self-applied exercises for massage, myofascial release and other exercises. The roller is cylindrical having a resilient outer surface on which are a plurality of axially spaced, circumferentially extending bands of similar projections which manipulate the body of the individual when the individual rolls against the surface of the roller. The projections are equally circumferentially spaced in each band extending around the cylindrical body. The material and shape of the projections are selected to provide greater resistance to bending or flexing to forces applied axially than to tangentially applied forces.

Described is a multi-handled tool that is ergonomically designed to maximize the efficiency of the tool by the use of a handle, optionally rotating, affixed to the shaft of the tool. The rotating handle may be rotated and locked into any desired position so the user can adjust the tool to create maximum efficiency. In addition, a footstep is optionally provided above the tool that allows for a greater digging force. A combination of the first, top handle with the ergonomically spaced handle placement that is completely adjustable combined with the footstep above the head of the tool provides for a tool that is much more efficient than the standard tools used today.

A massage device mounting system may include two mounting elements, each with a slot for receiving a removable massage bar with a cylindrical shaft and two opposing bar ends mounted within the slots. A massage device is pivotally coupled to the cylindrical shaft and includes a bore through the central axis of the massage device. A massage device mounting system may also include an adjustable support for mounting the massage device within a doorway or for supporting the massage device adjacent to a surface, such as a wall or a floor.
