Zoysiagrass plant named 'Southern Gem'

A thermal cutoff encapsulated in potting material within a dielectric tubular housing having an oval cross-sectional shape and a flat closed end. The thermal cutoff has a cylindrical body located intermediate the open and closed ends of the tubular housing, and the longitudinal axis of the thermal cutoff body is parallel to and laterally offset from the longitudinal axis of the tubular housing.

Thermal cutoff assembly

Wires and a thermistor are isolated from the interior surface of a metal tube by a ceramic tube and a ceramic spacer to protect the thermistor and prevent breakdown of insulation on the wires.

Temperature sensing apparatus

A thermal cutoff and a heating resistor are assembled in heat transfer relationship with one another by a metal clip. The assembly is mounted on a base of dielectric material. Electric leads on the thermal cutoff and resistor extend through holes in the base for connection to a printed circuit board.

Thermal cutoff and resistor assembly

A combined pressure cutoff and pressure relief valve includes a normally closed switch movable between closed and open contact positions. A normally closed pressure relief vent is located in a common housing with the switch. A pressure responsive diaphragm applies force to a switch snap disc and a vent snap disc. Under high pressure conditions, the switch snap disc snaps and opens a pair of contacts. In the event an abnormal pressure condition occurs, the vent snap disc operates and causes a pin to rupture the diaphragm for opening the relief vent.

Combined pressure cutoff and pressure relief valve

A thermal cutoff is mounted adjacent a bleed opening in a hot air duct. Hot air flowing through the bleed opening mixes with ambient air before contacting the thermal cutoff. If a predetermined air temperature is exceeded, the thermal cutoff operates, and de-energizes the air heater.
