A spray dust compression system and method includes a nozzle holder for affixing a spray nozzle to a percussive tool. The nozzle holder includes an arcuate wall having a first surface engageable with the percussive tool, and a second surface opposing the first surface. A protruding body protrudes radially outwardly from the second surface relative to a longitudinal axis of the arcuate wall and a concave recess is formed in the protruding body and receives the spray nozzle. The concave recess is angled inwardly toward the longitudinal axis of the arcuate wall.

Twinhammer nozzle wedge

A coupling that can be easily and repeatedly rotationally adjusted after assembly and/or installation. The coupling can comprise a male part insertable into a female part to a first position whereat the male part is rotationally locked with respect to the female part. Upon further insertion of the male part into the female part to a second position, the male part is rotationally unlocked from the female part and the male part then can be rotated relative to the female part. Once rotational adjustment is complete, the male part can be returned to the locked position to rotationally lock the coupling.

Lockable and positionable swivel fitting

Fitting connections for corrugated metal tubing. The connection includes a body having an externally-threaded end, a nut or other fastener which is threadably engageable with the body end, and a collet which is receivable coaxially within the fastener. The collet is formed as a series of individual, arcuate tangs which are joined together by a retaining collar, the collar allowing the segments to be resiliently opened within the fastener so as to allow the crests of the tubing to pass therethrough. The fitting may be pre-assembled with the collet segments being received coaxially within the fastener with the collar extending rearwardly from the fastener, and with the fastener then being partially threaded onto the fitting body.

Pre-assemblable, push-in fitting connection for corrugated tubing

A plate for passing a member from a first side of the plate through to a second side of the plate. The plate includes a retainer having a first surface on the first side of the plate, and a second surface on the second side of the plate. The retainer has one or more ports formed therethrough, at least a first one of the ports having an inner diametric extent configured to receive the outer periphery of the first member therethrough. A layer of an elastomeric material is provided on the first surface of the retainer across at least the first one of the ports. The layer is formed as having a first imperforate portion closing the first one of the ports, which first imperforate portion is openable for receiving the outer periphery of the first member through the inner diametric extent of the first one of the ports.

Self-sealing pass-through plate

An in-line diversion valve including a body and a plug assembled with the body. The body has an annular run extending axially from a first end opening configured to define a first port to a second end opening, and at least one annular branch extending radially from the run to a third end opening configured to define a second port of the valve. The plug extends coaxially with the body run from a first end received internally therewithin to a second end which extends externally beyond the body second end opening and which is configured to define a third port aligned coaxially with the first port. The plug is rotatable within the body and is formed as having a first passageway extending through the first and second ends thereof, and at least one perpendicular second passageway. The first passageway defines with the first and the third port a first fluid flow path, with the second passageway communicating with the first passageway in defining with the first fluid flow path and the second port a second fluid flow path. The second end of the plug is hand-accessible for the rotation of the plug between a first angular position wherein the second passageway is aligned coaxially with the body branch to open the second fluid flow path, and a second angular position wherein the second passageway is angularly displaced relative to the branch to close the second fluid flow path.

In-line diversion valve with flow-through capability

A clip for use in combination with a fitting of a variety adapted for a releasable connection with the distal end of a length of tubing as including a body member, and an annular collet member received within a gland of the body member for slidable axial movement intermediate a rearward position accommodating the radial outward expansion of the collet member for the insertion and removal of the tubing end therethrough and a forward position effecting the radially inward contraction of the collet member about the outer tubing diameter delimiting the removal of the tubing distal end from the fitting. The clip includes a retaining portion configured to be received coaxially on the collet member intermediate an external forward end thereof and an opposing end of the fitting body member, and a shroud portion configured to extend over the forward end of the collet member for delimiting force-transmitting contact therewith tending to move the collet member from its forward to rearward position. The shroud portion is circumscribed about at least part of the outer periphery of the clip as extending axially from a forward surface of the retaining portion to a distal end defining a length of the shroud. Such length is selected so that when the retaining portion of the clip is received on the collet member, the distal end of the shroud portion terminates beyond the forward end of the collet member when the collet member is disposed in its forward position.
