In one example of the disclosure, a system includes a chamber having an inlet to receive a print agent, an actuator operatively connected to the chamber, and a set of nozzles fluidly coupled to the chamber. The nozzles are orientated such that each nozzle of the set has a same boundary condition.

In certain examples described herein, a depositing mechanism performs an overcoat depositing operation. The depositing mechanism comprises a plurality of print head arrays. Each print head array is arrangeable in a deposit position to deposit an overcoat layer onto a substrate and a service position to enable servicing to be performed. In certain cases, an array controller causes at least one print head array of the plurality of print head arrays to be moved periodically from the deposit position to the service position according to a predefined servicing sequence during an ongoing overcoat depositing operation performed by the depositing mechanism.

A printhead assembly includes a printbar beam member and a plurality of printheads disposed thereon. The printbar beam member includes a printbar longitudinal axis. Each one of the printheads includes a printhead longitudinal axis and a row of nozzles arranged parallel to the printhead longitudinal axis. The plurality of printheads are arranged on the printbar beam member in a manner in which each respective printhead longitudinal axis is traverse to the printbar longitudinal axis.

A method of cross-talk suppression and a system therein are disclosed. The method may include receiving a print pulse to simultaneously fire ink from an array of adjacent nozzles of an inkjet printhead; and actuating groups of three or more adjacent nozzles of said array of nozzles with a time delay between actuations of said three or more nozzles of the groups.

A method for maintaining the optical density of a printing device includes, with a printhead module of the printing device, printing a color region onto a first test page, the color region including a plurality of sub-regions, each of the sub-regions being printed with a different drive voltage; measuring an optical density of each of the sub-regions printed onto the first test page; determining a response curve based on a relationship between the optical density of the sub-regions and the different drive voltages used to print the sub-regions; and, using the response curve, determining a target drive voltage for the printhead module which will cause the printhead module to print at a target optical density.
