An exemplary accessory mount for securing an accessory to a helmet includes a body, a moveable arm, and a hinge portion. The body has a top, bottom, and first and second sides. A fixed tab extends from the bottom of the body and a moveable tab extends from a top of the moveable arm. The hinge portion hingeably attaches the moveable arm to the top of the body proximate one of the first and second sides.

Accessory mount for helmet shroud and methods of using the same

The present application discloses a helmet, a retention system for a helmet, and a method of adjusting a helmet. In certain embodiments, the helmet comprises a helmet shell and a retention system attached to the helmet shell. The retention system generally comprises a rear portion connected to the rear of the helmet shell, at least one strap extending from the rear portion to a front portion of the helmet shell, and an adjustment device attached to the rear portion and configured to selectively adjust the length of the strap between the rear portion and the front portion of the helmet shell.

Helmet retention system

The present application discloses a helmet, a helmet retention system, and a method of adjusting a helmet. In certain embodiments, the helmet comprises a helmet shell and a helmet retention system. The retention system comprises a rear portion connected to the rear of the helmet shell, first and second straps extending from the rear portion to a front portion of the helmet shell, and an adjustment device attached to the rear portion for adjusting the length of the first and second straps between the rear portion and the front portion of the helmet shell to tighten and loosen the straps about the head of the user. Each strap comprises a strap segment and an elongated member attached to the strap segment. The adjustment device is configured to selectively adjust the elongated member to move the first and second strap segments relative to the helmet shell.

Helmet

The present application discloses an impact liner system for a helmet. In one embodiment, the impact liner system comprises an impact liner configured to be installed in the interior of a helmet shell to at least partially line the front, rear, and middle portions of the helmet shell. The impact liner comprises a plurality of impact pads and forms a plurality of air channels between the impact pads when the impact liner is installed in the helmet shell. In certain embodiments, at least one insert is disposed within one or more of the plurality of air channels. The insert generally comprises a body portion having a top and vertical side walls configured to prohibit at least a portion of the air channel from collapsing when the helmet shell is installed on a user's head.

Helmet impact liner system

The present application discloses a helmet, an impact liner system for a helmet, and energy management structures for a helmet. The helmet generally comprises a helmet shell and an impact liner system removably attached to the helmet shell. In certain embodiments, the impact liner system comprises a plurality of compressible energy management structures and one or more carriers for supporting the energy management structures within the helmet shell. The energy management structures are positioned between an interior surface of the helmet shell and the head of a user when the impact liner system is attached to the helmet shell.
