A drip irrigation system includes a distribution pipe and drip irrigation pipes that branch off in communication with the distribution pipe. Each drip pipe has a flushing valve coupled to a downstream end and at least some of the drip pipes each have an inlet valve coupled to an upstream end for communication with the distribution pipe. The system further has at least one command valve in communication with the distributing pipe and also with at least some of the inlet vales, wherein opening of the command valve is configured to close the at least some inlet valves.

Irrigation system

A drip irrigation emitter is provided extending between first and second longitudinal ends. The emitter has an outer side for attaching to a pipe that is laterally bound between first and second longitudinal edges. The outer side has a flow path and an exit pool, and at least a section of the flow path extends downstream along the first edge and at least a portion of the exit pool is formed between the section of the flow path and the second edge.

A drip irrigation emitter includes first and second members and a deformable membrane. The membrane is located between the members, and pins that are located on the first member are received within holes formed in the second member. End portions of the pins that project out of the holes are deformed and by that press the first and second members together and compress the membrane.

A pulsating irrigation device is provided that transforms a fluid flow entering the device to an intermittent pulsating fluid flow that is ejected from the device. The device has a chamber and at least one compressible member in pressure contact with the chamber. The compressible member compresses to assist the formation of the pulses ejected from the device and the fluid within the chamber is substantially sealed from contact with the interior of the compressible member.

Pulsating irrigation device

An irrigation pipe coupler can engage an open end of an irrigation pipe with its forward end. The coupler has a nipple and an outer collar. The nipple has an outwardly projecting barb and the collar surrounds the nipple and has an inwardly projecting bulge. The collar is slidably moved along the nipple between forward and rear terminal positions while being kept spaced radially outwardly from the nipple via a peripheral gap that is re-defined for each new position of the collar along the nipple. At each such new position, the gap has a narrow region measured in the radial direction where the collar is closest to the nipple and the narrow region gets smaller at least during at least part of the forward movement of the collar along the nipple. A window formed in the collar allows an operator to see an irrigation hose inserted into the gap.

Irrigation pipe coupler

A pulsating device has a chamber for receiving liquid entering the device and gas that occupies an initial volume in the chamber. The liquid entering the chamber compresses the gas and decreases the volume occupied by the gas, thereby increasing the pressure in the chamber. A valve is provided to open above a first threshold pressure to begin a pulse of liquid. The valve closes below a second threshold pressure to end the pulse. The pulsating device has an outlet gate that permits liquid in the chamber to exit the chamber when the pressure in the chamber is greater than the pressure outside the chamber.

Water pulsating device for irrigation systems

A rotating sprinkler for intermittently emitting a liquid supplied by a pulsating device that forms pulses that have a beginning and an end. The sprinkler has a rotating portion that can rotate about an axis while emitting the liquid pulses to the outside environment. The sprinkler provides for rotation of the rotating portion during a portion of each pulse and for stopping rotation of the rotating portion during another portion of the pulse.

An irrigation valve has a liquid passage, a sealing diaphragm and a control port that can receive control signals. The sealing diaphragm is held in the valve in a non clamped manner and is adapted to seal the passage. Upon receipt of a control signal the sealing diaphragm bends and opens a path for liquid around the sealing diaphragm that can exit the valve.

Irrigation valve

A drip irrigation emitter receives liquid flowing in an irrigation pipe at an inlet pressure and emits the liquid out of the emitter at an outlet pressure lower than the inlet pressure. The emitter has a flow path through which the liquid flows in the emitter, wherein below a threshold pressure of liquid in the pipe the emitter is adapted to emit a regulated flow of liquid out of the emitter, and above the threshold pressure of liquid in the pipe the emitter is adapted to emit a non-regulated flow of liquid out of the emitter.

Drip irrigation emitter

A drip irrigation emitter has first and second inlets through which liquid enters the emitter from an irrigation pipe, an outlet through which liquid exits the emitter, and a first flexible diaphragm portion seated on the second inlet and serving as a valve. Liquid at a pressure in the pipe that is below a predetermined level enters the emitter via the first inlet and travels along a first flow restricting path before exiting via the outlet and liquid at a pressure in the pipe that is above the predetermined level biases the first flexible diaphragm portion so that liquid can enter the emitter via the second inlet and travels along a second flow restricting path before exiting via the outlet.

An irrigation pipe comprising: at least one first integrated emitter characterized by a first discharge-pressure threshold; at least one second integrated emitter characterized by a second discharge-pressure threshold different from the first discharge-pressure threshold threshold; wherein, the at least one first and at least one second integrated emitters are positioned along the pipe in accordance with a predetermined configuration.

A drip irrigation device for distributing a portion of the water flowing in an irrigation pipe to a plant, the device comprising: a housing formed from a relatively soft plastic; and a connector for coupling the housing to the irrigation pipe comprising a bayonet for puncturing the irrigation pipe formed from a relatively hard material over-molded onto a feature of the housing made from the soft plastic.
