A method for producing a single-layer waterbar, use of a single-layer extruded profile as a waterbar, a method for sealing an internal or an external joint between two sections of concrete, and sealed construction; wherein the production method includes extruding a melt-processed starting composition through an extruder die to form an extruded profile, wherein the starting composition includes 35-75 wt.-% of at least one polymer and 25-65 wt.-% of at least one solid particulate filler.

Fully bonded single-layer waterbar

A sealing element for sealing joints in concrete structures including a profile having a center portion and first and second side portions on opposite sides of, the center portion. The side portions of the profile are at least partially covered with a functional coating which is operative to bond with a fresh cementitious composition casted against it and allowed to harden. A method produces a sealing element, a method seals a joint between two sections of concrete, a sealed construction, and a use of a sealing element for sealing of a joint in a concrete construction.

Fully bonded waterbar

A sealing device including a waterproofing layer, a functional layer, and a reinforcement layer fully embedded into the waterproofing layer or located between the waterproofing layer and the functional layer and/or a second waterproofing layer located on the outward facing side of the waterproofing layer opposite the side of the functional layer. Further, a method for producing a sealing device, to a method for waterproofing a substrate using one or more sealing devices, and to a roof system comprising a roof substrate and a sealing device directly adhered to the surface of the roof substrate with a layer of adhesive.
