The invention relates to a cosmetic composition, in particular in the form of a liquid cosmetic composition, comprising in a physiological medium (i) at least a plate type filler with refractive index&#x3e;1.6 and having a particle size between 1 &#x3bc;m and 20 &#x3bc;m, preferably between 1 &#x3bc;m and 15 &#x3bc;m, (ii) at least a silicon elastomer, preferably a non-emulsifying silicon elastomer, and (iii) at least a filler having an oil absorption capacity greater than or equal to 1 ml/g. The composition is preferably used as a skin care or make-up base or primer intended to decrease the visibility of skin imperfections, in particular the pores and make the pore hiding effect long lasting.

The present invention relates to a composition for a keratin substance, such as skin, comprising: (a) at least one plate type filler having a particle size of 10 &#x3bc;m or less, preferably 5 &#x3bc;m or less, and more preferably 3 &#x3bc;m or less; (b) at least one pearlescent pigment having a particle size of 15 &#x3bc;m or less, preferably 12 &#x3bc;m or less, and more preferably 10 &#x3bc;m or less; and (c) at least one hollow or porous particle, wherein the (a) plate type filler has a refractive index of 2.0 or less, preferably 1.9 or less, and more preferably 1.8 or less, and the (b) pearlescent pigment has a colored reflection. The composition according to the present invention can provide a keratin substance with sufficient coverage of imperfections on the keratin substance, while providing the keratin substance with brightness and natural finish.

This invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one microcapsule comprising at least: &#x2014;a core, &#x2014;a first laminated coating surrounding said core comprising at least 45% by weight of the total weight, of a microcapsule of multilayer interference particles comprising at least one iron oxide, and &#x2014;a second laminated coating surrounding said first coating, comprising between 10 and 40% by weight of titanium dioxide relative to the total weight of a microcapsule, said multilayer interference particles being released from said microcapsule(s) only when said composition is applied on a keratin material such as keratin fibers or the skin.

The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion, comprising: (a) at least one oil-absorbable organic particle which has an oil-absorbing capacity of 170 ml/100 g or more, preferably 250 ml/100 g or more, and more preferably 400 ml/100 g or more, and a volume-average particle size of less than 30 &#x3bc;m, preferably less than 25 &#x3bc;m, and more preferably less than 20 &#x3bc;m, (b) at least one oil; (c) at least one emulsifier; (d) water; and (e) optionally at least one additional oil-absorbable particle, wherein the oil-absorbing capacity of the total of the (a) oil-absorbable organic particle and the (e) additional oil-absorbable particle in the composition is more than 170 ml/100. The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, at least: (i) at least one composite pigment comprising at least one small particle with a mean particle size of more than 100 nm and less than 1 &#x3bc;m, preferably less than 600 nm, and more preferably less than 400 nm, wherein the surface of the small particle is at least in part covered with at least one coating layer comprising at least one inorganic or organic particulate solid UV filter; (ii) at least one organopolysiloxane elastomer; and (iii) at least one oil absorbing agent with oil absorption capability of 1 ml/1 g or more in an amount of more than 1% by weight relative to the total weight of composition.
