A female fluid connection element (), configured to be coupled with a male element (). A female body (), which has an insertion channel () of the male element (); locking elements () movable between positions; and a maneuvering ring () with an inner sleeve () for driving the locking element () to their proximal position. In order to have a small bulk and to offer particularly easy and reliable locking and unlocking, the female element () has a return plunger (), returning the locking elements () toward their distal position, and a resilient member (), exerting a return force to bring the return plunger () back toward a forward position. By being moved toward its withdrawn position, the maneuvering ring () drives the return plunger () toward a rear position, such that it does not exert a return force on the locking elements ().

Female element and fluid connection

The invention relates to a quick coupling, made up of a male element and a female element. The male element includes a cylindrical male body, defining a longitudinal cavity, a distal mouth, and a valve movable axially inside the cavity between a forward position in which the valve closes off the mouth and a withdrawn position in which the valve does not close off the mouth. The female element includes a cylindrical female body, defining a longitudinal cavity and a distal mouth, a push-piece, and a slide valve. The male body or the push-piece delimits a fluid passage channel connecting an inside of the cavity to the distal mouth, and the passage channel, emerging inside the cavity of the male element or the female element, fits inside a circle, the diameter of which is respectively larger or smaller than that of the first and second sealing gaskets.

Quick coupling for the detachable connection of two pipes through which a pressurized fluid flows

The invention relates to a quick coupling for the detachable connection of two pipes through which a pressurized fluid flows, the quick coupling made up of a male element and a female element. The male element includes a male cylindrical body defining a cavity, a valve movable axially within the cavity, and a first sealing gasket. The female element includes a female cylindrical body defining a cavity, a slide valve movable axially within the cavity, a second sealing gasket, and a peripheral groove that houses either the first or second sealing gasket. A proximal or distal edge of the peripheral groove extends between two planes that are perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the male or female element, respectively between a proximal plane and a distal plane, which are offset relative to one another along the longitudinal axis.

A fluid coupling element includes a body having a rear chamber and an intermediate chamber, a main valve movable to close a main passage between the rear and intermediate chambers, a forward valve movable to close a front orifice of the inner pipe under the action of a first spring, and a safety valve movable to close a secondary passage through the main valve between the rear and intermediate chambers. During coupling with a complementary coupling element, the forward valve moves a plunger that opens the safety valve before the main valve is opened. The coupling element includes a second spring, pushing the plunger back toward a forward position in which the main valve and the safety valve are closed, and the plunger abuts against the main valve or against the safety valve.

Coupling element and coupling device comprising this coupling element

The invention relates to a fluid coupling having coupling elements, each coupling element respectively having: a body, a main valve, movable to open and close a main passage through the body, a safety valve, movable to open and close a secondary passage through the main valve, and a plunger for moving the safety valve. To reduce leaks and reduce the pairing force, the fluid coupling is configured so that, during a pairing of the coupling elements, a sealing gasket cooperates with the body before the safety valves of the two coupling elements are moved toward their open position, and at least one of the plungers pushes its main valve back toward its open position, once the associated safety valve is in the open position.

Fluid coupling

A fluid coupling element has a body, a valve with a peripheral groove receiving a sealing gasket, a member for resiliently returning the valve, and a skirt positioned inside the body and movable between a first position axially freed relative to the gasket and a second position radially covering the gasket. The element has at least one hitching member axially secured to the skirt and radially movable between a first radial position for axially securing the skirt and the body and for relative axial movement of the valve relative to the skirt, and a second position for axially securing the skirt and the valve and for relative axial movement of the skirt and the body, in a configuration where the skirt covers the gasket.

Fluid coupling element and fluid-coupling comprising such an element

A fluid connector for removably joining two lines includes a male element and a complementary female element, which each include a body defining an inner passage and an outer passage, a male drawer, which is axially movable inside the outer passage between an uncoupled position of the connector, where it tightly closes off a distal mouth of the outer passage, and a coupled position, where it does not oppose the passage of fluid in the mouth and wherein the male or female body delimits a connecting passage between the outer passage of the female element and the outer passage of the male element during the coupling of the elements and which connecting passage extends between at least one distal opening and at least one proximal opening, which each emerge in one or the other of the outer passages.

Coaxial fluid connector

This male or female quick coupling element () is intended to be coupled to a pressurized fluid pipe (C; C). It comprises a body () defining at least one pressurized fluid passage (), a front face and a longitudinal axis (X; X) of the coupling element. An inner part () arranged in the body is provided with a surface belonging to the front face, as well as a drain passage () coupling the pressurized fluid passage and the outside of the coupling element. An opening mechanism () is intended to be actuated from the front face of the coupling element to open the drain passage. The inner part () is provided with a peripheral groove () in which a seal () rests that closes off the drain passage () in a closing off portion. The opening mechanism is mounted in the inner part and comprises at least one member () for controlling the position of the seal () relative to the groove (), this control member being movable between a first inactive position, where it does not move the seal relative to its closing off position, and a second active position, where it acts directly on the seal () to open the drain passage ().

Male or female quick coupling element and quick coupling including such an element

The invention relates to a discharge and purging device () adapted for limiting the pressure of a fluid (F) occupying the inner volume of a connecting endpiece (). The device () comprises a valve or a valve actuation piston; an inner enclosure () opening out on a front face () of the valve or of the piston; and an obturator () moveable between a closed position (C) where it obturates the front face () at a first seal area (Z) defining a first seal section (S) towards the front face () and an open position where it no longer obturates the front face (). The device () also comprises a first chamber () defined when the obturator () is in a closed position, between the enclosure (), the obturator (), the first seal area (Z) and a second seal area (Z) defining a second seal section (S) opposite to the front face () relatively to the first seal area (Z); a communication passage () between the first chamber () and the inner volume of the endpiece (); means () for returning the obturator into the closed position; and a second chamber () defined between the enclosure (), the second seal area (Z) and the obturator (), and isolated from the inner volume of the endpiece () and from the first chamber (). The first seal section (S) is smaller than the second seal section (S).
