A laminated electrically heatable glazing panel includes: (i) a first outer and second inner substrates with respectively an internal and an external faces, laminated to one another via at least one polymer inclusive interlayer, (ii) a coating including at least one heatable conductive layer provided between the outer and the inner substrates, the coating divided into at least one heatable coating zone and at least one non-heatable coating zone, the first heatable zone being delimited by at least two zone boundaries which are insulating by a coating deletion area, and (iii) at least a first and second conductive bus bars, each of the spaced first and second bus bars adapted to supply electrical voltage across the at least one electrically heatable coating zone. Only the at least one electrically heatable coating zone is heated when current runs through said first and second bus bars and wherein the conductive path is defined between the busbars.

Heatable glazing panel

An electrically heatable glazing panel including a substrate and at least a first electrically heatable zone including: (i) a substantially transparent, electrically conductive coating layer, (ii) at least first and second spaced bus bars substantially parallel and configured to supply electrical voltage across the substantially transparent, electrically conductive coating layer, and (iii) a conductive pathway defined between the at least the first and the second busbars. The glazing panel further includes a conductive pathway provided by a pattern of coated and decoated regions in the substantially transparent electrically conductive coating layer of electrically heatable zone to affect electrical resistivity of the coating in the first electrically heatable coated zone.

A method and installation of inspecting a fragmentation pattern of a tempered glass panel by deflectometry, following a fragmentation test, the method including: (i) positioning the tempered glass panel in contact with a support; (ii) projecting by a display device a structured light pattern on the surface of at least one portion of the tempered glass panel; (iii) capturing an image reflected by the surface of the first portion of the tempered glass panel using an image capture device; and (vi) processing the images to determine the fragmentation pattern by an image processing device.

Method and installation for imaging a fragmentation pattern formed in a tempered glass panel

A window assembly includes a substrate with an electrically conductive transparent layer that defines an area having a periphery. An outer region devoid of the transparent layer is defined adjacent to and along the periphery. An elongated antenna element is disposed in the outer region. A feeding element couples to the antenna element for energizing the antenna element. The area of the transparent layer defines at least two protrusions being spaced apart from one another and extending integrally from the area and into the outer region. The antenna element abuts and is in direct electrical contact with the at least two protrusions. The feeding element couples to the antenna element at a location between the at least two protrusions or at one of the at least two protrusions.
