Updating a presence status of a user of a communication terminal for a set of at least one communication application. The terminal is connected to a communication network via a network interface. The method includes: detecting in the terminal a functional event a consequence of which is a future deactivation of the network interface; sending, by the terminal to a 'status update server' an event notification of the deactivation event, which includes an identifier of the user; following receipt of the event notification by the server, determining from the identifier of the user, for each of the communication applications, a specific presence status corresponding to the detected event; sending by the server, to each network platform respectively hosting at least one of the communication applications, a request to update a current presence status of the user for the communication application, with the specific presence status for the communication application.

A command code management method, implemented by a command code management device. The method includes transmitting a command signal to a second terminal that has been associated with a first terminal from which a command code, on which the command signal is based, is received, the command code having been received by the first terminal prior to the transmission and after the association of the first terminal and second terminal. The command codes are thus able to be used more widely, that is to say in particular by terminals not equipped with a reading device such as connected objects, or terminals not equipped with a reproduction device.

A method for executing a client application on a client terminal communicating with a server application on a server via a telecommunications network. The client application includes at least two views, at least one view being configured to establish at least one request to the server application. According to the method, the client application is associated with a data structure relating to the views of the application, in which at least one parametrization attribute of the request is associated with a view. The method includes the following steps on the client application: selecting a view, termed a current view; obtaining of an attribute associated with the current view in the data structure relating to the views of the application; and generating a request to the server application.

Server of statistics for optimization of client-server requests

A system is provided for filtering packets. The system includes: a filter for determining, by applying a set of at least one filtering rule, whether a packet is permitted to be routed towards a receiving entity. The system includes a verification element for verifying validity of an authentication token included in a request received by the filtering system and adds, to the set, after receiving an initial request, a so-called top-level filtering rule, permitting the routing, towards the verification element, of at least one packet received via a predetermined communication port of the device, in which the source address is identical to the source address of the initial request, regardless of the source communication port of the subsequent request. A routing element routes a subsequent request including a valid authentication token towards a receiving entity of the subsequent request.
