A contact element for inserting a mating contact element along an insertion direction. The contact element includes an insertion opening for inserting the mating contact element and at least one contact lamella for electrically contacting the mating contact element, and a clamping sleeve that is displaceable along the insertion direction, relative to the at least one contact lamella, between a first position and a second position. The clamping sleeve and the contact lamella are in an operational relationship with one another such that when the clamping sleeve moves from the first position into the second position, the contact lamella is moved in a radial direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. The clamping sleeve includes a run-up element, which in a projection along the insertion direction through the insertion opening at least partially covers the insertion opening.

Contact element

A plug connector for connecting to a mating plug connector along an insertion direction. The plug connector includes a housing including an interior and a contact element situated in the interior. The plug connector further includes a connector position assurance. The housing includes a pressure equalization element for equalizing the pressure of the interior with respect to the exterior of the housing. The CPA is situated at the housing and is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the housing, a sealing element being provided at CPA, the pressure equalization element being sealed with respect to the exterior by the sealing element in the second position.

Plug connector

An electrical plug contact for high-current applications. The plug contact encompasses a housing that extends along a longitudinal axis and an interior space for receiving a single counterpart contact element. The plug contact encompasses a cable having a plurality of strands, the cable being guided from an exterior space of the housing into the interior space and being fastened thereon. The cable has an end in the interior space, the cable having, adjacently to the end, a damping portion in which the cable is split into a plurality of separate conductors; a plurality of contacting elements, each of which is arranged suitable for electrically and mechanically contacting the single counterpart contact element, each of which is secured on a corresponding one of at least two of the conductor strands, so that each conductor strand is connected to one contact element, and so that each conductor strand is at the same electrical potential.

Electrical connector system with vibration prevention

An electrical plug connector. The electrical plug connector has: a connector housing for accommodating at least one electrical cable that extends along an axial direction; a shielding plate that completely encloses the connector housing in a circumferential direction around the axial direction. The connector housing has, on an external surface, a play-limiting element for limiting a degree of play in the state plugged together with the mating plug connector. The shielding plate has an opening, the play-limiting element protruding from the connector housing and extending through the opening of the shielding plate and/or the play-limiting element being fashioned as a connector housing opening in the connector housing and being adjacent to the opening.

Electrical plug connector

A multiple-contact plug and a plug connector system equipped therewith are described. The multiple-contact plug has a plug housing having contact receiving chambers and a plurality of contacts that are each inserted into one of the contact receiving chambers. The contacts are each formed having a contact base body and an elastically deflectable primary lance protruding laterally from this contact base body, which lance is elastically reversibly deflectable from an outward-protruding position into a position deflected toward the contact base body. The multiple-contact plug in addition has at least one short-circuit jumper element. Electrically conductive contact surfaces of the short-circuit jumper element are situated in at least two of the contact receiving chambers and are electrically conductively connected. The contact surfaces are situated in the contact receiving chambers at positions such that they are each contacted by the primary lance, in its protruding position, of a contact fixed in the respective contact receiving chamber. On a mating plug, a short-circuit separating element can then be fashioned such that, in a plugged-together state, it displaces the primary lance of at least one contact from the protruding position into the deflected position, and in so doing interrupts the electrical contact between the primary lance and the contact surface of the short-circuit separating element.

An electrical plug connection includes a plug including a housing with a plurality of electrical plug contacts and including an operating element moveably fastened on the housing and including a sliding track that includes first and second sections oriented such that plugging the plug into the plug module or detaching the plug from the plug module is carried out by two movements of the operating element that are in two opposite movement directions; and a plug module with a plurality of complementary plug contacts that electrically contact the electrical plug contacts in a plugged-in position and attached to a pin that is guided in the track. During a movement of the operating element relative to the housing, a force is transmittable from the sliding track to the pin so that the plug and plug module move toward each other or move away from each other.

Electrical plug connection

A plug includes: a housing with a plurality of electrical plug contacts that electrically contact complementary plug contacts of a plugging module in a completely plugged-on position; and a slider movably attached to the housing, including first and second gear rack segments, and configured to engage with the plugging module such that, in response to a movement of the slider relative to the housing, a force is transmitted by the slider to the plugging module by which the plug and plugging module move towards each other or away from each other. A lever is rotationally mounted to the housing so that, responsive to a movement of the lever in one direction, the gear meshes with the first gear rack segment moving the slider in a first movement direction, and subsequently meshes with the second gear rack segment moving the slider in a second opposite movement direction.

A contact element. The contact element has a contact body extending along a longitudinal axis and a cable holder connected to the contact body and extending along the longitudinal axis, wherein the cable holder has at least one retaining section for fixing a cable to the cable holder. The contact element additionally has a protective element. In order to prevent the protruding strands of the cable from damaging the sealing mat when inserting the contact element through the sealing mat, the protective element is displaceable along the longitudinal axis from a first position into a second position, wherein the protective element covers the cable holder in the second position. A method for producing a contact-element/cable arrangement is also described.

A connector is described for establishing an electrical connection to a plug. The connector has a housing having an inner surface and a plurality of contact chambers. Each contact chamber is designed to establish an electrical connection with respectively one plug contact of the plug. A contact chamber has an outer surface and is designed to be movable in one direction parallel to an insertion direction of the plug in order to assume an inserted state or an extended state.

A contact is provided for latching in a contact chamber of a plug connection element. The contact has a contact box having an upper wall, a lower wall, and two opposing side walls. A primary locking lance protrudes resiliently diagonally outward from the upper wall. To protect the primary locking lance against harmful plastic deformations due to externally attacking forces, at least one of the side walls, in an area laterally adjoining the primary locking lance, is configured to protrude outward beyond a plane of the upper wall. An outside edge is bent toward the primary locking lance, so that it overlaps a side edge of the primary locking lance so that it counteracts outward bending of the primary locking lance in a form-locked manner.

Unipolar or multipolar electrical plug connectors include contact carriers having contact chambers, into which contact elements can be inserted. These contact elements latch with so-called snap-on lances. In the present SYSTEM, the latching is produced by a part of the contact element with a snap-on lance, a smooth outer geometry of the contact element being present in the assembled state, but by latching of a non-resilient snap-on lance within the contact chamber. Consequently, the advantages of the snap-on lance locking mechanism unite with those of the clean-body construction.

An electrical connector in the form of a vibrationally stressed socket contact for producing an electrical plug connection, in particular in the automotive field. These electrical connectors are made up of an inner contact part and an external retention spring. The inner part itself includes contact lamellae, which rest against a mating component, preferably a knife blade, at a contact point. In order to ensure that the contact reliability is increased by optimum, normal contact force in each contact lamella, even in the case of tilting or vibrating or wobbling mating components (knife blades), the contact parthas at least three contact lamellae pointing away from a center segment, each of the contact lamellae having at least one contact point for producing an electrical plug connection to a knife blade. In the state of a produced, electrical plug connection, the free ends of the contact lamellae rest on support elements, which are designed to be a part of the external retention spring.
