A plug connector for electrically connecting a tag connector to an electrical line of a motor-driven garden and/or forestry working apparatus includes a tag connector receptacle portion and a line receptacle portion. The tag connector receptacle portion has a first surface-clamping leg, a second surface-clamping leg, a first peripheral guiding blade and a second peripheral guiding blade, wherein the surface-clamping legs are disposed so as to be opposite one another and wherein the peripheral guiding blades are disposed so as to be opposite one another. The tag connector receptacle portion is configured for elastically enlarging a leg spacing between the surface-clamping legs and for plastically enlarging a blade spacing between the peripheral guiding blades by interaction between the peripheral guiding blades and the tag connector for receiving the tag connector and for contacting and for impinging with a clamping force opposite surfaces of the received tag connector by the surface-clamping legs, and for contacting opposite peripheries of the received tag connector by the peripheral guiding blades for securing the received tag connector against being released from the tag connector receptacle portion and for electrical contacting. The line receptacle portion is electrically connected to the tag connector receptacle portion. The line receptacle portion is configured for receiving the electrical line and for securing the received line against being released from the line receptacle portion and for electrical contacting.

A portable work apparatus has a combustion engine for driving a work tool. An air/fuel mixture is supplied to the engine via a carburetor which is provided with an electrical heating element for heating to a given temperature. The heating element is connected to a switch via which electrical energy, which is provided by a generator driven by the engine, is supplied. When a given temperature is exceeded, the switch interrupts the energy supply. To achieve an exact temperature control, the ohmic resistance value of the heating element is stored in a memory in dependence on the temperature. The current flowing through the heating element and the voltage drop at the heating element are measured and the instantaneous resistance of the heating element is calculated therefrom. This calculated value is compared to the value stored in the memory to open or close the switch in dependence on the comparison.

Handheld work apparatus having a control unit for an electric heating element

A connector system () includes a plurality of connectors (to) which each have a plug and a counter plug. Each plug has a plurality of receptacles () for contacts and each counter plug has a plurality of receptacles () for counter contacts. In at least one receptacle () of each plug, a contact is arranged and in at least one allocated receptacle () of each counter plug, an allocated counter contact is arranged. In at least one of the connectors (to), at least one receptacle of a plug does not have a contact. In the allocated receptacle () of the counter plug, a coding element is arranged which prevents the insertion of a contact into this receptacle () of the counter plug.

A hand-held power tool has a drive motor driving a tool and a generator. One or more heating devices having one or more heating elements are provided. The generator supplies the one or more heating devices with energy. A control device controls a power supplied to the one or more heating elements as a function of at least one operating parameter of the drive motor.

Hand-held power tool and method for operating a heating device of a hand-held power tool

A hand-held work tool has a housing with a carburetor heater and a grip heater. An internal combustion engine is mounted in the housing and has a crankshaft and an ignition system. The ignition system has a pole wheel with permanent magnets fastened sequentially at a periphery of the pole wheel in the circumferential direction. Charge armatures are mounted in the housing and close the magnetic circuit between neighboring permanent magnets. The charge armatures have legs and excitation coils mounted on the legs. Upon rotation of the pole wheel, the permanent magnets generate an electric current in the excitation coils, wherein a first set of excitation coils is combined to a first partial generator and connected to an electric circuit of the carburetor heater and a second set of the excitation coils is combined to a second partial generator and connected to an electric circuit of the grip heater such that the electric current is supplied respectively to the carburetor heater and the grip heater. The excitation coils of the first set are arranged in a row adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction. The excitation coils of the second set are arranged in a row adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction.
