An acoustic insulating board of foam with structured bulge-forming surface in the form of regions (I, II) of different thickness. In order to obtain differing acoustic efficiency, the acoustic insulating board comprises plurality of individual boards (1) arranged one above the other, which boards are compressed in the regions (I) of lesser thickness and are fused together on their surface. In the regions (II) of larger thickness, the boards lie loosely on one another so that a top side facing in the direction of the structural bulging of a central individual board (1) is profiled in the regions of greater thickness.

The invention relates to a sealing element for sealing openings in special walls subject to fire-protection requirements, brick wall breaches or the like, wherein for cost-effective manufacturability and processibility and simultaneously fire-protection assurance the sealing element is made of a precompressed strip, preferably impregnated with a chloroparaffin and neoprene base, with delayed restoration, the strip being interspersed with a heat-expanding intumescent compound in an essentially uniform distribution.

The invention concerns a joint sealing strip (D) consisting of open-cell precompressed foam material with which strip there is coordinated a foil (4) joining in the restoring of the foam material, and the invention suggests, specifically for optimizing the laying of the strip in a sealing manner, that the foil (4) be fashioned as an intermediate layer which is areally bonded to the foam material layers (1), between these layers.

A package of foam sealing strip of delayed rebound and of foam held in compressed state by the wall of the package. The wall of the package is formed of two flexurally rigid panels which protrude on both sides of the sealing strip and are held together by a plurality of hoops arranged spaced apart from each other.

The flap for ventilation ducts, particularly for automobile air-conditioning systems, includes a flap member having opposite surfaces with a predetermined number of openings therein, a longitudinal bottom edge, opposite side edges and an upper edge. A pocket-shaped covering of foam material on the flap member is arranged in two layers which are folded around the longitudinal edge of the flap member onto the opposite surfaces of the foam material including foam sections extending beyond the opposite side edges and the upper edge of the flap member. The layers have a bond-activated foil covering which faces the perforated wide surfaces of the flap, the foil covering connecting the foam-material sections extending beyond the opposite side edges and the upper edge of the flap members. The band activated foil covering further connects the portions of foam-material lying opposite each other at the perforations in the flap member.
