An arrangement is disclosed for cutting off intensive radiation in projectors and/or illumination devices whose projection head, which projects the light, is mounted in a receptacle or holder rotatable about an azimuth axis so as to be swivelable about an additional axis arranged vertical to the azimuth axis. It comprises a cutoff mechanism which comprises a coupling member, and light-absorbing means or cutoff means, which is fixedly connected with the receptacle and which is rotatable jointly with the latter and with the projection head about the azimuth axis, wherein the light-absorbing or cutoff means are positioned in the cutoff position in front of the light outlet opening of the projection head or of an objective or in an intermediate image plane located within the projection head. The arrangement is suitable for application particularly with projection of image contents on plane, arched, or curved projection surfaces.

Arrangement for cutting off radiation in projectors and/or illumination devices

In relay optics for a deflection system with two scanning devices, each of which changes the angle of a light bundle from a location predetermined separately for each scanning device in a predetermined deflection plane within a predetermined deflection area, an optical system and a mirror surface are provided, wherein the optical axis coincides with respect to position and direction with the central normal of the connecting straight line between the predetermined locations of the first scanning device and second scanning device and the shape and position of the mirror surface are realized in accordance with the conditions that the two vectors, the direction vector of the light bundle and the surface normal of the mirror surface, each projected in the deflection plane of the first scanning device, are identical with respect to direction for every point of incidence of the light bundle on the mirror surface given by the deflection of the first scanning device and that the path of the light bundle running toward the focal surface of the optical system, with the optical axis of the optical system as axis of symmetry, is mirror-symmetric to the path of the light bundle running back from the focal surface.

In an apparatus for generating an image on a screen by illuminating image points in a plurality of partial images by light bundles, wherein the apparatus has at least one deflection device for deflecting a plurality of light bundles in respectively associated image points of the individual partial images, and a control device for controlling the intensity of the light bundles depending on the brightness of the respective image point to be illuminated, and optics between the screen and deflection device for deflecting the light bundles in a partial image associated with the respective light bundle, it is provided that the optics include an entrance pupil which is spread out over an extended area and an exit pupil which is much smaller in comparison to the entrance pupil, and in that a plurality of deflection devices for deflecting a light bundle associated with a partial image are provided in or near the entrance pupil which is spread out over an extended area.
