A louver for selectively closing flow openings defined therethrough comprising a stationary support grid including a plurality of equidistantly spaced, first rods extending in a first direction to define flow openings therebetween, a movable grid including a plurality of spaced, second rods extending parallel to the first rods and being movable relative to the first rods in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction from a first position in which each of the second rods at least partially overlaps a respective one of the first rods to a second position spaced from said first position by a distance approximately equal to the equidistant spacing between said first rods and a plurality of substantially impermeable, flexible, flat structures each having first and second longitudinal edges and each of which is connected along the entire length of its first edge to one of the first rods and along the entire length of its second edge to a respective second rod that at least partially overlaps said one first rod in the first position. The flat structures have a width that is at least as wide as the width of the equidistant spacing whereby when the second rods are moved to the second position the flat structures close the flow openings.

Louver

A front or rear cross-beam of a motor vehicle body is fastened to the front or rear ends of the longitudinal members of the body or chassis, and acts to support the side parts or panels and of the body work. The cross-beam comprises a center section which is fastened to the longitudinal members, and lateral sections which are detachably fixed at the two sides of the central section and to which the side panels of the body are secured.

A rotary combustion engine of trochoid design. The engine includes a housing composed of a jacket having a multicurved inner jacket face and two parallel side walls and a substantially horizontally disposed eccentric shaft which extends through circular apertures in the side walls. A liquid cooled piston is rotatably mounted on the eccentric. Oil control rings are mounted on the piston end walls which coact with the side faces of the side wall. A disk is provided in at least one piston end wall with a hub which rotates with the eccentric shaft concentrically with respect to the rotational axis of the piston and extends into the aperture of the side wall. The disk and the hub are provided with sealing rings in tight sealing engagement with the piston end wall and the wall of the aperture, respectively. The sealing rings encompass an annular chamber which is limited radially outwardly by the oil control ring. A groove is provided in the lower range of the wall of the aperture which receives the hub of the disk. This groove is coupled at its lowermost point with a return line by means of a bore.

Feeding means supplies lubricant to a lubricant metering pump on a machine or engine which contains at least one shaft of which a bearing surface is mounted in a journal bearing and is pressure-lubricated.

Lubricant feeding means

A device for aspiration of lubricating oil from the supply of a combustion engine that may at times be moved out of a normal position into a different position, in particular an upside-down position, by means of a lubricant pump delivering the oil to the bearing surfaces of the engine.
