Winder and a turret unit

The present invention relates to a method and a device for producing a roll () made of a material web () of flexible material which is guided via a contact roller () of a winder and is wound in the said winder to form a roll (), wherein the contact roller () maintains contact with the roll () during winding and the wrap angle (&#x3b1;) of the material web () passing over the contact roller (), as the former is progressively wound, is maintained throughout at a variable reference value predetermined for each winding. In this way the wrap angle (&#x3b1;) for the winding can be adapted to the respective composition of the material web (), which improves the quality of the winding.

Winder for an endless material web

A winding device for successively winding at least one material web, particularly a plastic film web, onto spools. The winding device includes a machine frame, at least one wheel which is mounted on the machine frame in a manner allowing rotation, at least two winding points for carrying the spools, which are mounted in the wheel in a manner allowing rotation, of which a first winding point is positionable in a winding position, and a second winding point is positionable in a loading and/or unloading position, with at least one guard element that is pivotably positionable in a region between the spools respectively associated with the first winding point and the second winding point.

Winding device

A winding device for winding up a web-like material has a roll core, on which the web-like material is wound up into a material roll, and a web guiding roller, which guides the web-like material before or when the web-like material reaches the roll core or the material roll, and a pressing element, which presses the web-like material onto the roll core or the roll after the web-like material already rests on the roll core or the roll. The pressing element is movable in relation to the roll core, and is mounted at both ends in lever arms forming a lever arm pair. The lever arms are mounted so as to be rotatable, and so that the pressing element is pivotable around bearing points of the lever arms.

Pivotable positioning roller in the reversing winder

A cutting and transport roller for material webs includes media outlet openings in its peripheral surface to which varying pressure can be applied to control the seating pattern of the material web on the peripheral surface of the roller. The roller has a system of pressure feed lines by which the media outlet openings are connected to means for supplying the media. The roller has at least one pressure reservoir that is a part of the pressure feed line system and that can be connected by a valve to at least one part of the media outlet openings.

Cutting and transport cylinder in a winding device for winding material webs

Device for continuous winding of webs onto winding shafts or winding cores to winding rollers, with a pressure roller supported in a frame that can be engaged on the winding shaft or winding core. This engagement is effected with limited friction and in a sensitive manner by means of a drive, with the pressure roller being supported on at least one steering rod that is pivot-connected to two guides, the other ends of which are pivot-supported in the frame.

Device for continuous winding of webs

A device for continuous winding of webs on winding shafts onto winding rollers consisting of arms supporting the winding shaft, a pressure roller that can be engaged on the winding shaft or winding core, a knife separating the web during the roller change, and of a charging electrode supplying the web start with an electrostatic charge, which attaches the web start, newly formed by the web cut, on the winding shaft. In order to always maintain the correct equal distance to the web supplied with the charge, the same is tracked in such a manner that the distance of the charging electrode to the web remains constant regardless of the diameter of the winding shaft.

A device for winding a web, preferably a plastic film web produced in a blowing or casting process, includes a driven winding tube for a web, a web tension measuring roller, a driven contact roller positioned between the winding tube and the web tension measuring roller which, in the case of contact winding, can be positioned against the film roll being formed and which, in the case of gap winding, is positioned at a distance from the film roll. A control device controls the motors as a function of the feeding speed of the web and in accordance with the measured tractive force of the web, such that the coil hardness of the wound roll can be predetermined. In the case of contact winding, the torque of the winding motor is controlled according to the increasing diameter of the wound roll and the contact roller is driven at a speed that is controlled according to the tractive force of the web. In the case of gap winding, the speed of the winding motor is controlled according to the measured tractive force of the web.

Device for winding a web

A device for winding webs of material onto winding shafts comprises a movable bearing supporting a winding shaft during winding, through which the supply roll being formed can be moved towards a contact roller and which can be moved in a position away therefrom for the removal of the completely wound supply roll. A new winding shaft accelerated approximately up to the speed of the web and onto which the cut leading end of the web can be wound, is inserted in the movable bearings. To prevent damage to the web, the weight of the supply roll is supported on the contact roller. The movable bearing is formed by two pairs of holding means, each pair of which can be moved synchronously with the other pair but also independently thereof. The pairs are adapted to hold a supply roll jointly as well as individually to hold a completely wound supply roll or a winding shaft with the leading end of the web wound thereon.

Device for winding webs of material onto winding shafts

A winding spindle includes a plurality of support and drive rings mounted for free rotation thereon. The drive rings carry and drive winding cores, which have been slipped over the drive rings. The drive rings are able to be non-positively coupled, by their lateral annular flanks, with thrust washers. The thrust washers are connected, in a torque transmitting manner, and slidingly, with the winding spindle, and are acted upon by a thrust. In order to couple the support and drive rings to the winding spindle with an essentially constant torque along the length of the winding spindle, endless hose sections are associated with each thrust washer. The endless hose sections act to press the thrust washers directly against respective flanks of the support and drive rings with uniform force.

Winding spindle

In apparatus for winding web material successively onto separate winding cores, the material is fed from a supply via a central guide roller to alternate winding assemblies carried by rotary frames. The apparatus has left- and right-hand rotary frames on opposite sides of the guide roller respectively and there are two winding assemblies on each frame. The winding assemblies can be moved along the frames in horizontal tracks, and the frames can be rotated so as to alternate the positions of the respective winding assemblies relative to the guide roller. The apparatus includes associated web cutters and slitters both for transverse cutting and lengthwise slitting of the web material so that full-width web rolls can be wound, or separate rolls can be wound from adjacent strips which have been slit longitudinally from the web.
