A connector configurator includes a connector configuration system and a customer connected to the connector configuration system. The connector configuration system has a configuration processor and a configurator module executable by the configuration processor. The customer has a display. The customer accesses the configurator module to receive a plurality of interface data displayed on the display. The customer transmits selections of the interface data to the connector configuration system to create a configured connector using the configurator module. The configurator module displays the configured connector on the display based on the transmitted selections of the interface data.

A fixation device for fixing a contact element within a connector. The device includes a housing defining a contact element receptacle for receiving a contact element and a support face defining a deflection surface for supporting the contact element within the housing, and a clamping device for clamping the contact element in the contact element receptacle with a clamping force directed in a clamping direction. The deflection surface is oriented at an angle relative to the clamping direction such that it deflects a component or portion of the clamping force acting upon the contact element in a direction transverse to the clamping direction.

A wave conductor for electromagnetic waves, waveguide connector and communications link A wave conductor for electromagnetic waves, preferably a millimeter-wave wave conductor, in particular for a digital communication application, with a conductor core and a one conductor sheathing. The conductor sheathing surrounds the conductor core at least partially in the longitudinal direction and at least partially in the circumferential direction of the wave conductor. An electric connection assembly for surface mounting on a circuit board comprises a soldering pin. The soldering pin has a starting portion disposed in a housing of the electric connection assembly, a middle portion, and an end portion disposed at an end of the soldering pin opposite the starting portion and contacting the circuit board. The middle portion is bent from the starting portion in a direction toward the housing and the end portion is bent from the middle portion in a direction away from the housing. A connector comprises a connector face, a latch, and a CPA receiving space. A plurality of contact receiving spaces of the connector are open to the connector face. The latch engages a mating connector when the connector is inserted into the mating connector along an insertion direction. The CPA receiving space is disposed adjacent an inner side of the latch and receives a position securing member. At least one contact receiving space is disposed between the connector face and the CPA receiving space.

A contact for an electrical plug connector comprises a plug portion and a contact spring. The plug portion has an opening receiving a pin contact in an insertion direction. The contact spring is connected by at least one spring arm base to the plug portion and extends from the at least one spring arm base toward the opening in a direction opposite the insertion direction.
